WERA 05004064001 8004 C Zyklop Full Metal Ratchet with Switch Lever, 1/2" Drive

Wera makes some of the best hand tools around. The Wera Zyklop wrenches and the only ones I will use. The handle finish and shape are superior and are the most comfortable to hold in the hand. The tooth count is more than enough for fine adjustments and sturdy as any other brand. Their warranty is top notch and their prices are great. I only buy Wera tools now that Craftsman is a Chinese company. German designed tools (made in Czech) are far superior to the other Chinese junk. The Zyklop ratchets are very comfortable in hand making it very easy to use for an extended period.

I have all three sizes of these, arc is good, smooth, and I like the socket release. Good hand feel too.

This is a great ratchet, and I wish I had bought it earlier. The action is solid and tight with little play. The handle is perfectly shaped for my hand, and wide enough to be comfortable. It's not the best ratchet for extremely tight areas or low clearances, but then neither are most 1/2" ratchets. I have heard of complaints with the quick release, but have not encountered any problems - it releases all of my variety of sockets [older Craftsman, Husky, Klutch, Williams,and Snap On] with no issues. The only down side to owning this ratchet? Now I want to also get the 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch versions. It's that good.

very good quality. a tool that is pleasant to hold in your hand, really good design. This ratchet is the first tool I bought from Wera. I will try it out soon. I am sure that it will fully justify its cost

I have all 3 sizes of this tool. They are all very solid, this one especially. I see some owners sockets do not lock into it. All of my Husky brand sockets lock in completely, (button fully extended). One of my adapters only partially locked in. The button is 2/3 of the way out (locked). But it stays on the tool. I bought these to get better tools. My older 1/2" drive ratchet was 1.5 inches shorter. This one is much more solid, and more comfortable. I do not plan to ever buy another ratchet after using all 3 of my Wera versions of socket tool wrenches.

Best ratchet I've ever had. I'm starting to get a lot more "nice" tools and this is a really great ratchet. The build quality is solid and it just seems like it's a fine instrument rather than a cheap ratchet from harbor freight or even a big box hardware store. Probably won't bust off stuck bolts any easier than a cheap one, but it feels great using it. Sockets stay on well, mechanism works well, the lever action is excellent. Lets you switch direction much easier than cheap ratchets. Great all around.

La elegí por la calidad de la marca, porque su longitud es superior a otras con lo que la fuerza a realizar es menor al tener más palanca y por que también es cierto que es más fina que otras, con lo que es más fácil que entre en sitios de poco espacio. Además la carraca necesita poco ángulo entre diente y diente (me parece que es de 72 dientes) y se agradece para espacios reducidos.

Ratchet is good. Price is a bit on heigher side but being a imported ratchet from Germany, I think it can justify the price. Given It 5 stars if the finish of the product would be more precise & premium, However no complaints abot the finish as it looks good but only problem is that you can see the marks of machining at the the entire sides of the handle. Ratcheting function is good & feels solid but I recommend using the Wera ratchet with the Wera sockets only as sockets from other brands do not attach as good as the Wera ones.
