Forget "red hot"...the pipes have to be completely dry and then you have to wait to pressure test everything.This cement is my go to all the time now. I cant buy it in California now so have Amazon ship it to me.It can be used on wet or dry pipe, has a low VOC and sets up almost immediately.I would not recommend for those that need "play" after gluing.. Its sets up fast.Probably not a cement for the average homeowner (less you know what your doing)
