Our family has been using an Avalon countertop water filter and dispenser for a while now, and it's been a fantastic addition to our kitchen. Bought this end of January 2024. Installed it last week (first week of February 2024). Hot water works great but the Cool and Cold water options don't provide Cool or Cold water. Water, in fact, is somewhat lukewarm - warmer than room temperature. I have done all the troubleshooting recommended (cold temperature switch is flipped correctly on the back, power cable is working, etc). I believe something is wrong with the device. I have emailed Avalon multiple times. Left notes on their webpage. Tried to call (can't leave a voicemail). Chat option doesn't work on the website. Spoke to Amazon customer service to try and get someone on the phone with Avalon but they also were not able to get a hold of someone. I'm going to give them a few more days but if they don't, I'm going to return the device. Disappointed. I understand sometimes things don't work but the more problematic thing is the inability to get a hold of anyone from their customer service team. That's not good.

Our family is loving this. We live in the desert and none of our kids have been great at refilling water jugs and putting them back in the fridge. Installing it was not difficult at all, it stores and cools about 1.5 liters, but it doesn't take long to cool more after we fill a pitcher for dinner. The kids love making their hot chocolate and noodles with the hot water feature, cutting down on cleaning pots as often as we were. Our concern was that it would be expensive to replace the filters, and we've been drinking the tap water here without complaint, so I bypassed them when I connected this to the supply line. after the second notice to replace the filters, I noticed the flow had slowed a bit and I popped off the supply hose and cleaned out the port with a q-tip and we're back to full flow.

I ordered this from the US to Germany, as this type of coolers is not popular and when found, it is very expensive! Thanks for the delivery! The machine is doing so well and the installation was easy. The only thing that could be better is the noise. It is not very loud but you can’t not hear it! All in all, a nice machine and I would recommend it!

Ordered on May 22, 2023, thought it was a great deal, easy to install, worked well right up until it stopped working. The water chiller went out after eight months of use. The hot water still works, at least for now. Would have been really happy with the Avalon, if it was still working. Edit: Their customer service surprised me. They corrected the problem very quickly. Yes the cooler quit working but the CSR took care of me and I will look at Avalon for future purchases due to the very good service I received.

Due to our city water never tasting the greatest we had bought a bottom loading cooler/dispenser which worked for a while but it was always a hassle loading up the 5 gallon jugs, taking them to be filled, and carrying them back into the house. This unit is Amazing... easy to install, our water is fresh and tastes great, and the convenience of steaming hot, tap, or ice cold is wonderful. One of my best purchases feom Amazon to date!!!

Doesn't last very long, will leak, will become noisy, not really worth it unless they offer at least 5 year warranty.

Solo duro como 2 semanas enfriando el agua, despues ya no funciona. Estoy en el proceso de garantias
