Freez Pak Reusable Ice 5"X 7"X 1.5" (3-Pack)

I got these freeze packs for keeping ice cold in coolers when outside. I forgot to bring them in the other day went out three days later and I still had ice in the cooler and the freeze paks were cool to the touch. Got to love a product that does what it says it can do.

Ours froze quickly and stayed cold through the day.The concern that I have is that it needs to lay flat to freeze without causing a bulge in the plastic case.I don't know if repeated bulging (think frost heave) might weaken the case but we'll see.Perhaps the plastic could be thicker to prevent that.

Ordered these for my husband's lunch box this summer. Just the right size. He's already using them and say they work great. Great price and fast shipping. Love Amazon.

These are nice but I needed a specific size. They are not as listed. 5.5 x 7.25 x 1.5 A 5" wide block would have been perfect with room to spare, but 5.5 is to big!

These are as good or better than any I've used. None of my stores carry this size anymore. And what a nice price.

I'm using this with my Engel MC-14 DC Frig-Freezer. It takes the Engel cooler 10 or so hours to freeze 6 to 8 of these and I can use them in my larger cooler for 2 or so days. I'm using this method because I'm having a increasingly harder time finding block ice on the Great Lakes for my cooler. Cube and crush ice hardly lasts a day and is a rip-off to use in coolers.
