Almost perfect.
This coin sorter is an inexpensive way to organize your coins. Especially since each row wraps not one, but two rolls. However, strangely, there are two rows that don't quite round to the needed dollar amount for rolling. The second stack of quarters go up to $11.25 and the second stack of nickels are shorted by 25 cents. Of course, I didn't figure this out until I wrapped about six rolls and had to remove/add coins so I wouldn't fall short at the bank. Now I just adjust the amount as needed before I wrap, but if you are having young children helping you this may not be ideal. Nevertheless, I do like how easily the coins stack--there is almost no error because if you are unable to add another coin into a row, you know you stacked it correctly!

Love this!!
I was looking for a coin counting bank for my 8yr old granddaughter. She has an issue with identifying coins, and what their values are. When I spotted this tray,I knew it could be just the thing! She helped me count out $20 in change, and I sent her home with the sorting tray and the money. For an incentive, if she can identify them, know their value, and can solve simple addition problems, after one month, she gets to keep the tray, and the money! She is so excited, she held it the entire 2 hour drive back home. I love the little side amounts that help count how much is in the tray. This will be a great learning tool for her! Thanks for the great product!!!!

love this!! keeps my lose change organized!
I love having this! It was super fast to sort out my change and also know how much you have. I had a peaceful Sunday just counting my coins and rolling them up! I didn't have a hard time with removing the case cover but I also was careful to not pry it so that it wouldn't break. After I used up most of the wrappers it came with, I just left the remaining change on the tray till I have more lose change and more wrappers to roll them up. I haven't gone to the bank to deposit my money but my one piggy bank wrapping session yielded about $222.05 of lose change, I didn't count the pennies yet lol! And I did make sure to wash my hands afterwards! This is great for kids to learn how to count money too! So easy to keep track of the amounts because they already have them on the tray!

Will save you time, but not the perfect device!
I used this to count money quickly from a fundraiser. While it definitely helped, there were several features that could be improved. First, the increments do not match the way that you normally count each coin. For example, the quarters are counted with this device in sets of 5, not 4! So, if you don't have a full set for each "chunk/slot" you have to take a moment to figure out what amount you actually have. Second, it's not convenient for rolling coins. The dimes, for example, when filling up the entire row, go up to $11, but a roll of dimes is $5, so if you fill up the whole dime row, you roll two sets, but you have a dollars worth of dines left over to contend with. Third, the chunks/slots aren't perfect. Sometimes an extra dime or penny will fit into a slot, or there will only be 4 (all slots hold 5 coins), but the slot will look like it's full. So overall 3 stars because it helped a lot, but not perfect in so many ways.

Design issue, slots don't stack for two wrappers.
The cover was ridiculously hard to get open and now I don't really use it. I expected hooks on the back and a snap on the front for easier opening and closing. Nickles stack to $3.75, not $4.00 and dimes stack to $11.00, not $10.00, don't understand why the stack can't match the total for two wrappers like the pennies do. In my opinion you could get rid of the half dollar section and expand the quarters. Otherwise, it works well enough to get the job done.
