I've been using this for years and it's become my absolute go to for drip coffee, and yes, I'm literally sipping on a cup right now as I write this. There's something about a cup of this in the garden that just hits differently, smooth, rich and full bodied without ever being bitter or harsh. The medium roast color is spot on, a beautiful even roast that looks as good as it tastes. The flavor is wonderfully balanced with a depth you don't always get from a medium roast, and the aroma while it's brewing is absolutely incredible, fills the whole house and gets you excited for that first sip. The beans grind beautifully too, consistent and fresh every single time, and it always arrives fresh without sitting around in a warehouse for months. One of those coffees that you just never feel the need to switch from. Highly recommend.

Great coffee, beans aren't oily and the flavor is good medium strength and not bitter. Very fresh. Exactly what I expect from Lavazza. Works great in my Gevi drip coffee maker with a grinder on top.

Pro Tip for Getting the Best Flavor: Water matters more than most people realize. I prefer brewing with distilled water, which really allows the coffee’s natural flavors—especially those chocolate notes—to shine. You’ll notice many bottled water brands are now offering distilled or “designer pH” options for this exact reason. If distilled isn’t available, filtered water works well too—just let it sit overnight so any chlorine can evaporate before brewing. Another often-overlooked detail is brew temperature. For proper flavor extraction, your coffee should be brewing between 195°F and 205°F. A simple infrared thermometer or even a digital meat thermometer can help you verify this, and it makes a noticeable difference in taste. This is an easy 5-star coffee for me. Lavas makes great coffee. However, if you are looking and shopping for beans and switch to a selection that appears (and is) more bags, it is highly deceptive. Your bags of beans are now ground coffee. Usually the person shopping for one type is not happy ordering the other by mistake of a difficult to interpret photo and a click on their phone (smaller pictires)

I absolutely love this coffee. It's one of my favorites when I'm not roasting my own. I use it for lattes and I'm very particular about roast date and having fresh beans. The bags I've received have been 2 months or less, off of roast date, which is far better than I've gotten from buying coffee in a grocery store. That's been my experience anyhow. *I will say the last bag I received was shipped in an envelope, and the coffee bag was split. Unfortunately the envelope provided no protection from pressure and forced a slit in the coffee bag. The mailing envelope was fine. I contacted customer support and they quickly refunded my money. Hopefully they go back to shipping in a box like normal, where the coffee is better protected. I'll update in a few months on my future experiences. Bottom line is it's great tasting coffee not too far off roast date, delivered quickly to my door. Wonderful aroma, full body, and has nice notes of chocolate.

I always watch for sales, then stock up on my favorite coffeem which is LaVazza Perfecto. I like it so much, I have most of my friends drinking it now. Even my sister who looks for coffee for free loves this coffee, and she no longer waits till she visits me to get some!
