This is a fantastic valet for its purpose. It just has a really nice look to it, looks much more expensive than it is, and is plenty sturdy for the task. All of the compartments are functional, it doesn't have a bunch of little useless compartments as other valets have. It is also a perfect size, the two larger compartments are good for eyeglasses, keys, wallet, watch, etc. and the curved one is convenient for money. The two smaller ones in the upper left work well for many things, such as a phone. I also like how the top right compartment has an attached lid to it. The gray felt lining completes it. If you're looking for a gift for a man this is practical, useful, not too big, and not expensive, and comes in its own box.

When I ordered this I was a little skeptical. I have ordered others that were not very sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised. It is very sturdy and looks handsome on the dresser. Great for holding glasses, change, watches, etc. in one place.

Perfect girt item

I purchased two of these 10 inch valet trays from the seller Best-chess-set about 13 months ago. We gave one as a gift and I got the other for my husband. It's holding up beautifully. At first I was concerned they looked a little cheap. I'm slightly OCD and my husband said he wouldn't have noticed but I'll mention it anyway. They both had a spot or two where you could see the corner of the hard cardboard-like pieces underneath, along the edges, beneath the leather-like material. I used a black sharpie to dot over those couple spots and you'd never know they were there. I was concerned that it might quickly look like bent cardboard would after much use but over a year later and it still looks great. Every so often a coin sinks underneath, along the edges of the curved section but I can easily pick them out. The grey velvety portions look and feel nice and (after my couple marks with black ink) I'd say it's really nice looking overall. Even to someone picky like myself. Smile. Thanks to another reviewer's recommendation here, I also ordered this 2-pack and it fits really nicely into the area with the lid. Perfect for my husband's cuff links and a couple rings he doesn't wear. I didn't glue them down but they fit nicely and could be velcro'ed or glued in, if you wanted to, 1 X 2 Black Velvet Ring Trays Jewelry Pad Showcase Displays 5.5" These are nice organizers for the vanity, dresser or nightstand and were a good value for around $11 each when I bought them. Excellent valet. Quality made. My 20 year old son uses this in the top drawer to keep his pocket items organized. He uses the slots they show for a phone for his minimalist wallet and gift cards. His glasses fit perfectly in the compartment with a lid. Keys, pocket knife, and receipts fit nicely in the open area at front. Change is easy to access in the left front curved compartment. He really likes it. It came very nicely packaged and ready for gift giving.

Man this is a awesome product it goes perfect with watch case on here also it holds my wallet phone and work g shock and knife and keys perfectly it’s awesome and a must for a organized neat man thats on the go

This is exactly what I needed. I bought this for the top of my dresser. It's so nice to have one location for all the stuff I put in my pockets! It looks a lot cleaner and classier. I use it to hold my wallet, my business cards, my knife, my pocket comb, my work badge, my mustache comb, mints, coins, and my sunglasses. Random stuff I bring home in my pockets go there too. If I ever have something that I need to remember the next morning, I put it in one of these compartments, because now this is another waypoint for me as I get ready in the morning. I have a brown dresser, but the rest of the stuff in the bedroom is white, and this valet matches the white theme quite well. The dimensions are as advertised. It's a good size. If you are looking for a handy little organizer, I would highly recommend this.

This valet tray looks the part and from a size point of view it was exactly what I was looking for. I get my work phone, personal iPhone, keys and wallet in the open compartments. When I change my uniform I put my work pens and small note book into the closed compartment. It holds everything I wanted it to hold, which stops it all looking like abandoned clutter on a surface. On the downside for a leatherette product I feel the price point is too high. There are leather valet trays at a similar price to this one. Something around the £15 to £25 range would be more realistic. However, I liked it too much to part with it.

Quality and size were good. Would like to find one similar to this with a place for cords for charging phones and ipods.
