They are very reliable makers I can say that by their beautiful product. A lot of care has gone into making it perfect with the velvet lined box and the great violin, i am a beginner at it and i started using the bow as soon as i got my hands onto it and the sound was deep and not at all scratchy even for a beginner like me. I mailed them that they had missed the rosin and the wiping cloth and there was an instant response from the company that they would replace it. I had checked the boxes that had arrived and could not find the rosin. However, the next day i found the rosin in a receptacle inside the violin case that had a small flap to pull. I informed the maker that i had found it but he said that i could keep the rosin as an extra cos it had already been sent out. So the service has been very prompt and they have been kind in their responses. So i would suggest that you check the receptacle inside the case and not just the accessory box for all the things they pack away with it. I had read of rosins missing in their previous reviews, so i guess that also added to my bias and subsequent overlooking of the receptacle. Hope you find ur rosin :) I am very happy with my purchase , their craftsmanship and services.

I first got my daughter another highly rated (on Amazon) violin, but as soon as she started classes, her teacher told her it would not be usable by the time she could use a bow. The pegs did not stay in place, but this one tunes well enough. She recommended this one since we wanted to buy a cheaper starter violin, and it is so much better! We did replace the shoulder rest with a Kun, but otherwise just what we needed! While not for advanced players really into timbre, it sounds pleasant for a beginner. It's a good value for the price (especially since, for me, there are no nearby stores to rent from). It comes fully assembled and ready to go.

I wrote previously about the violin was not tuned correctly when I received the shipment and there two broken hairs. I had hard time tuning string E but when I went through video via QR code on one of the card attached. I realized that was a common problem during Amazon shipment purchase. I was able to tune the violin based on the video instruction. The Pegs did seem to move a bit quicker than our old violin where I needed to tune again after 24 hours. May be it will take sometime to get use to the new violin. Pros: Beautiful and carefully packaged, nice case & nice color violin. Name tag, violin book, shoulder rest a plus. Cons: Recommend to put a big notification sign before open Violin: Watch the instruction video first.

Ray Chen made a review about violin‘s and one of them was this one. Good price and works great. Even came with rosin. My kiddo has been playing on it since January 2024. Good beginner violin and the price is right. Comes with extra strings, rosin, shoulder rest, cleaning cloth… I can not complain about a single thing. Even the teacher said it’s a great one.

Update 01/17/2021: Had a friend stop by and I told him I got a violin.. He wanted to see it since he played some back in middle school. He couldn't play for anything, but did show me a few things.. And as you can see in the picture, the prufling isn't perfect on the slide and the varnish wasn't done correctly at the base of the neck. It was the same on both sides. Also, you can see wood splinters on the base of the neck. He can't play much better than I but he saw those, in addition to the light scratches on the back as I had seen. Basically, he said I might have not ordered the Clearance unit, but that's what it looks like I got from them. He also said my bow was slightly warped near the tip and my rosin was cracked. When I tighten the bow up, it's barely noticeable, but when the hairs are loose, I think most people will be able to tell. I moved it from the original 4 stars to 2 because of the faults he found, but to me and him, and he can't really play... he said it still sounded nice. LOL --Original review -- Let me start by saying until today, I don't think I've ever touched a violin. I do remember holding a violin bow in the 4th grade, but that was a long time ago. I'm in my 50s now... The violin came well packaged with no damage to the outside of the box. It included everything as listed. I had asked them to provide the Suzuki book instead of the one that it comes with, which they did swap out for me. Yeah! Violin seems perfect, but I don't know what I'm looking at. Shinier than I expected, but it looks good. I expected more of a matte finish. The bow was pre-rosined so it did play when I ran the bow across the strings. Oh.. there were a couple of very light scratches on the back, but no big deal.. I expect it'll get more as it's used. Now the reason I didn't give it 5 out of 5 is the case. The case had some loose strings in the stitching that I needed to trim. The space for the shoulder rest storage, the indent isn't cut correctly. Or you could say the shoulder rest is just a tad to large. The shoulder rest can't be stored with the clamps. I can already tell it's going to be annoying using the shoulder rest because you'll need to unscrew the clips every time you go to store it. Outside of that, I feel it's a win, but I don't have anything else to compare it to. I do have a friend that use to play and teach the violin, so when I get a chance, I'll have him look it over to see what he thinks.. But I have a feeling he's going to laugh since he's use to playing violins that costs thousands and thousands of dollars.. I'm hoping he shocks me and tell me how good this violin is... BTW, the case does have a lock and key. It's a very simply lock, but you can lock it. The key itself was attached the the strap, which was located in the case.

I recently retired and decided to take up the violin. The Bunnel Premier Violin Outfit 4/4 Full Size looked like an excellent student violin and it didn't disappoint. The sound is great, it looks wonderful and the accessories seem to be good quality. The violin itself has a lifetime guarantee - so you can't go wrong with that. Overall, I am very pleased. All that is left is to practice!
