The Hely Weber Titan Thumb Brace/Orthosis #455 is geared to providing true immobilization of the thumb joint following an injury. This features an adjustable "pre-laced" lacing pull tab that allows for fastening with just one hand. The thumb stay is moldable to allow for a multitude of different thumb positions and rigid enough for control over all thumb movement. Patients appreciate how the brace remains below the palmar crease in your hand to allow for full use of your fingers. The Titan thumb brace features a removable palmar and dorsal (top side) stay that can be removed and molded if necessary for a more customized fit. Can I add bling for the holiday season?
Was told by dr to wear one one 24 hrs a day for 12 weeks. Bought this one to allow me to wash the original one. This one is absolutely as good as what was provided by doctor! Cannot tell which is better. Not something you look forward to wearing but it helps!

Definitely the support your wrist needs while you sleep.
I like the adjustable velcro bands to adjust to your customized level of comfort. Kept my wrist and thumb safe and straight throughout the night. This is not flimsy or cheap quality. It definitely will aid in a speedy recovery. Would not recommend for the day, it restricts a lot of movement it keeps your wrist and thumb straight.

excellent quality brace
Dr had a similar one for sale in his office for about $300. Has 3 velcro straps to secure the thumb. Universal size is good in that you don't have to worry about exact size or if you need a larger size as arthritis progresses.
