I ordered these because as most of us who own Brio, the tracks you design don’t always connect the way you designed it. Sometimes you have two make ends and can’t connect. These pieces solve the issue and work well with Brio track. Now connections are easy and my grandson has hours of fun. They lock together well its other brands and the variety in this package satisfies any novice track builder. Even my 3 year old grandson can connect them easily. If you put theses next to other tracks you would not be able to tell the difference. They are smooth and well designed with your child’s fun in mind.

These pieces have been a great addition to our grandkids train track. This will allow us to do so many variations. Fit and finish is very good there was no issues shipping was quick.

Over the years we've apparently lost some of our Brio track pieces, so that some parts, like one of the ferry landings, could not be connected. These adapters do the job perfectly. They are not a Brio product, but they match exactly. There are also male-male and female-female pieces in some Brio accessory sets, but these are all we needed, and were much cheaper. I was puzzled what the two orange plastic pieces were for until I found on the box that they are for the Thomas track system. We do not have that, so I can't judge how well they fit.

If you are going to own more than just a simple ring's worth of train tracks, these pieces are a must. Every single time my kids build a track to play with they have to use at least 2-3 of these. If you have any kind of split tracks (one track that splits off into two or three tracks) then I can almost guarantee you you will need these! It's a small price to pay for all of the frustration it will save! We purchased these for the great price and have been thrilled by the quality and compatibility. We own the following brands of wooden train tracks, and all are compatible with each other: - Orbium - Right Track Toys - Brio - Thomas - Generic set from Tuesday Morning - Ikea We purchased them all at separate times but kept all the boxes in a tote for a big Christmas present for our kids. Before we opened all the boxes to combine them and wrap them up for Christmas we tested all the tracks with each other. Each of those brands fit each other very well. I would buy the cheaper tracks over the more expensive tracks any day because of the value you get.

We bought these along with the bulk 100 piece wooden track set. These adapters are pretty necessary and the name brands may give you one or two in their packs, but then you have to buy a whole other pack of track to get more or pay a bunch of money for just a couple. This was a great buy. Great addition to train set. My son has been a HUGE fan of Thomas the Tank Engine for years. He has built up a large collection of track. However, he often needs to join unmatched pieces of track i.e. male-to-male or female-to-female. That's where these pieces come in - and they do the job perfectly. The track is nicely finished (no splinters in little hands) and perfect for what it does. Would recommend to buy it again. The set gives me all the connectors. For some reason the one solid ends are used more than the ones with holes. These track pieces have made it possible to do lots of different layouts, especially for little guys who want to play on their own but would otherwise have trouble getting the track all going in the same direction to hook together.

I bought these for my Grandson. We have wooden Brio Train Track at our house, that he plays with all the time. He kept running into the problem of the track coming together with either 2 make ends or 2 female ends, so this was the perfect solution. He was elated that this makes it so he doesn’t have to tape the ends together. It came with both male and female track solutions. It was great. The track is a tiny bit smaller than the Brio track, but I am thinking they did that so it can accommodate several different brands of track. It was perfect for what he needed. Very good quality and we would definitely purchase this again. Thank you.
