Oh my gosh this is much quicker and easier than the probe types to get an accurate reading. The no touch is a bit of a faff with a 1yo so you just place it on the forehead between the eyebrows and in 2 seconds you get a reading. Saw they used Braun in the nursery where they were telling us our child had a temperature, while our previous thermometers weren't. So now we can quickly check without much drama before dropping them off in the morning. Bit pricey for what it is but, it's good quality and should last a lifetime.

I find the water temperature readings unreliable, but taking a forehead temperature seems pretty reliable. Seems more accurate if you touch it to the forehead, but the "no-touch" option also is pretty good as long as you hold it close enough and hold it still. It does state 0.2degree difference in readings, which is what I have found and that's fine! (For example, first reading will be 36.7, second reading right after 36.9). Easy to use and easy to read. Nice to have the silent option too. Quite expensive but glad I bought it. Much easier to take my 1 year olds temperature with this compared to a standard digital thermometer.

Very rarely works. Absolutely useless product

The item was delivered very quickly (before the expected date) and as ordered. We bought this to replace an existing Braun in-ear thermometer that has served us well over the last 18 years and still working. We chose Braun for the reputation, reliability and the fact that it is no touch forehead thermometer. which allows the temperature to be taken easily. The item is as described and as ordered. Supplied instructions are precise and clear. Batteries are also included to allow the thermometer to be used on delivery. Temperature can be taken in seconds with the added advantage to no touch with a light beam to help you aim the thermometer. Does not require additional purchase of covers like hose used on in ear thermometers. The temperature range is colour coded, with red for very high which is a very quick alert. It can also be used to measure the temperature of liquids. I would highly recommend this thermometer from our experience

Why did you choose this product over others?: It seems the box has been opened. But seems noy been used. I do like the inside design, well protected, not wasye material, and easy to open. quick and the result arw constant. Speed: quick Quality: great

Usual Braun quality - well made, feels quality etc...but...this is a bit of a random number generator when it comes to temperatures. It regularly comes up with suspicious readings. You can repeat a test on the same head, and get a different number. Seems to be under reading too, often reading mid 35Cs - this is fine, but not something we've seen with previous thermometers. It's troublesome, as we can't really trust it at the moment. Maybe when one of the family is actually ill, and genuinely has a temperature, it'll bring its A-game then.

Great product

I bought this for myself as an adult. It's very easy to use, the display is big and easy to read. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable digital thermometer that can be used with babies, toddlers and adults.

Al principio lo compré con cierta duda porque los termómetros de frente sin contacto no siempre son muy fiables, pero este me ha sorprendido gratamente. Lo que más me gusta es lo rápido que hace la medición: en apenas dos segundos ya tienes el resultado en pantalla, y eso es especialmente útil cuando necesitas comprobar la temperatura de alguien que no está muy colaborador o que está durmiendo. La guía visual y la luz direccional combinadas con el sensor de proximidad ayudan a colocar el termómetro a la distancia correcta sin tener que adivinarlo. Esa luz te indica cuándo estás en la posición ideal para una medición precisa, y reduce mucho la posibilidad de que la lectura sea errónea. Me gusta también que no solo mide la temperatura corporal, sino que puedes usarlo para comprobar la temperatura del agua del baño o de algún líquido, lo que lo hace bastante versátil para uso familiar. En cuanto a fiabilidad, lo he comparado varias veces con un termómetro de axila que tengo de referencia y, en general, la diferencia ha sido como mucho de 0,1 °C, lo que da bastante tranquilidad y hace que me sienta cómodo usándolo como herramienta principal en casa para controlar la fiebre. Esa consistencia me ha hecho confiar más en él después de las primeras mediciones. La pantalla es clara y el sistema de colores ayuda a interpretar rápidamente si hay fiebre o no, algo que se agradece cuando quieres respuestas rápidas sin complicaciones. En conjunto, para uso doméstico es un termómetro práctico, rápido y fiable que ha superado mis expectativas frente a otros sin contacto que había probado antes.

Einfach toll so eine IR-Thermometer. Endlich können wir unserem Kind die Temperaturmessen, ohne ein Thermometer irgendwo einführen zu müssen. Es funktioniert zuverlässig sogar bei Flüssigkeiten. Wir nutzen dieses um das Badewasser zu messen. Und ich muss sagen, auch dieses funktioniert erstaunlich gut. Wenn man bedenkt, dass Flüssigkeiten ein anderes Abstrahlverhaltrn von Wärme haben, als eine Stirn oder ein fester Gegenstand.
