How much weight does it support?

It can’t hold weight, it’s just meant to be shade.

Could this be used as a laptop shade?

The Shadesy is 16” high from the bottom cushion to the top of the canopy and 22” wide. We put our iPads, kindles and cell phones under the Shadesy on a side table to try to shelter them from the heat of the sun. However the elastic strap that is attached to the sunshade is only meant to attach to a lounge chair. I wouldn’t think that the amount of shade would be sufficient to use a laptop under the sunshade because of the clearance. The Shadesy was designed to shade your head while tanning on a lounge chair. The fabric is made of a light weight material it shades more like an umbrella would. I hope this answers your question.

Not understanding how to tilt adjust this, it's firm plastic and doesn't from the original set up. What am I doing wrong?? It's just stays put

It is possible that the shade fabric was put on the wrong bars, It should be put on the round connecting bars to work correctly. How does the Shadesy attach to the chair. My chairs tubing is thinner than most. Others have not fit.

The Shadesy sunshade attaches with a an elastic strap which goes around the chair back. It does not clip on or clamp on to any part of the back.
