Knorr Gulosch -- Good Choice and easy
Knorr Gulasch mix. Arrived on time. People are right it's not in English. No recipe. I have your solution. Google: Gulasch. Dozens of recipes pop up. Choose one and add this packet for your flavor. That's what I did ( I added about 1/3 while cooking the meat in beef tallow)and the rest with the water. No regrets! It came out delicious! I will buy again! I recommend this for a great taste!

Authentic European Flavor.
It is very easy to make a goulash for 4 people with this packet. You just add water, 1 lb of browed stew-cut meat, simmer for 20 to 30 minutes and then add few cut-up bell peppers (preferably green) and continue simmering for another 20 to 30 minutes. It really tastes like the goulash I often ate in the cafes in Munich in my graduate student days. Of course, the peppers available in the US are not exactly like the Hungarian ones, but the green ones here come closest. The sauce is perfect because the powder in the pouch has a penetrating flavour which I feel is authentic. It goes perfectly with soft buttery noodles or potato dumplings. Amazon also carries convenient packets to make these easily, unless you are content just to serve it with boiled new potatoes. These exotic (foreign) convenience packages are not cheap but they taste good and are pretty authentic. Dinner can be ready with minimal effort.

Slightly Weak
Adds a decent flavor to a stew, but is not as strongly flavorful as others I have tried. I now add double to my gulasch.

Authentically Tasty
Unless my mom is making homemade gulasch, I purchase this. But I also doctor this up a bit. I add paprika as well as a bit of red pepper powder to it, giving it more of a kick. Ladle that over a bit of wide egg noodles and there you go. Or, perfect also with boiled potatoes and a bit of unsalted butter.
