Very good. Small bottle, but very good.

Taste ok but arrived very cold w oil hard solid, with some oil leaking from jars. Anchovies basically diluted paste. Expensive paste. Yes, it’s winter but temp 43 degrees and these were removed from covered porch within 2 minutes of delivery; I was home when delivery guy rang bell, saw the truck, and opened them. Picture taken after thawed in bowl.

Not too salty, not too fishy, excellent flavor. Unfortunately, my last order arrived with one of the jars open and leaking olive oil over the entire inside of the package, but orders in the past have all arrived intact. Really great for pizza.

I love the moderate fishy flavor, but dislike finding and removing tiny bones.

The fillets are firm and unlike the gourmet high priced Spanish Anchovies they can be removed from the jar without breaking apart. The flavor is well balanced between brine and the natural savory flavor of the anchovy. Another plus is they have a minimum to no little bones. Why pay for over priced Ortiz's anchovies, when you buy a better anchovy for less money. If you don't believe me I challenge you to take a blind taste test between Merro and Ortiz. You'll see! For you skeptic's I have no affilation with Merro. In fact I never heard of them until 3 months ago. I tried them on a recomendation and loved them.

Only problem—and this is universal-is how do u get them out of the jar without them ripping in half?? I love anchovies and these were well packaged and protected for shipping, but no matter what the container I still have problems getting them out in one piece. Great taste, used them in a shrimp dish.Well packaged for shipping

when I ordered this product it was shown in a can not in small jars.......
