Enchanted - Magical Forests Coloring Collection (Fantasy Coloring by Selina)

The media could not be loaded. This is quite a pretty bunch of “enchanted” designs (mostly fairies) in a magical forest type setting. There are 25 different designs, however, what is great is that this artist provides 2 of each design, so you have a total of 50 designs to color (or to share depending on your mood.)The designs are quite elegant and have a great deal of detail in them. There are several “nudes” where hair and whatnot cover up the strategic areas so that the individuals are not technically nude. There are flowing lines in every design and it is a great book for those who are into fairies.The designs are printed on one side of the page with the back left blank. The paper is white and is not perforated. Many of the design go right into the binding, so removing the page might be a tad difficult without losing some portion of it. The paper is fairly thin and all markers and gel pens leak through. As the back of each page is blank, you can put a piece of cardstock or really heavweight paper under the page you are working on to keep ink from ruining the rest of the book. The binding is glued rather than sewn in.

Love this book so much. All the images are gorgeous, 1 sided and on great quality paper. I put layer after layer and the paper kept taking the color. You get two of each image in case you mess up or want to try a new color combo. This book is a no brainer if you're a lover of fairies and other magical things. Also great for the collector. Unique art work.

Apparently, I only read the top eight reviews which praised this book like crazy. Today when it arrived, I went back online to do more reading. The ninth review said "It would be good except for the CHEAP PAPER." I use pencils and markers but that won't work for these. The top worst review didn't mention the paper but the second did--and there were only two reviews under the "Bad" column. I ordered two of her books, this one and Mermaids, and am disappointed with the paper in both.

I really love the artwork in this book but I was so disappointed with the very bad quality paper used. It's recycled to the point of being grainy and it just smears everywhere. I spend more time erasing than I do coloring. Very frustrating that it's so hard to find high quality products these days. Everyone wants to be cheap. Sadly, they don't think about trying to retain customers with great products as opposed to just providing a service for a one-time purchase.

SORRY SELINA, but this needs to be said... I LOVE ALL of Selina's images, I just wish they were printed on BETTER paper. And since a lot of colorist print the images on better paper then WHY duplicate the images in the book. At first I LOVED the idea of the doubled images, but since I realized printing on better quality paper makes for a better coloring experience I don't really need the double prints in the book. This is my 8th Selina coloring book but just not sure they are worth the price anymore. :( I have Festive Magic, Enchanted, Fairy, Night Magic, Goddess, and the MINIS Magical, Mermaid, & Gothic.. LOVING the MINIS more than the full size books now with NO double prints n images are taken of a few different full size books. PLEASE PRINT on better paper, I would THEN want ALL of Selina's books... ;) Hubby is to blame for my Addiction to Selina's books buying my 1st few as gifts for me...

Love all of the coloring books from Selina, quality coloring books I keep coming back to. I shared some of these around and actually tore the book in half to let some of my friends color these as well since they loved her artwork. I didn't have any issues with the glitter pens I use bleeding through the paper though I still took the precaution of pulling each page before coloring each time. I was very cautious since I know I normally color a bit heavier with my glitter pens and I didn't want to accidentally destroy any of the pages.

Selina Fenech is my favorite artist, it's wonderful having coloring books from her. The only downside of them is the edges aren't perforated, making taking the pictures you've colored out of the book a chore. Since some images go right to the edge of the book. Personally, I cut off the binding to solve that. If anyone else does this, it makes the edge you cut at curl up. The paper she uses is a nice quality. I only use colored pencils on them, but that go on smoothly and I've never had a problem with the paper tearing no matter how heavy my hand is. The pictures themselves are her artworks, but you'll notice some don't have as many details as the originals. This is great for adding your own details to it. The images vary in difficulty. Almost all of them give you the freedom to be as creative as you want. Or as simple.

I am really excited to start this book!! I love the quality of the drawings. Love that they are single sided pages. Pages aren't perforated but book comes apart fairly easy and you can keep the pages nice as you take the book apart. Kudos I love that there are two copies of each image. I don't have anyone to share with but I can just do it again completely different from the first one! I am a new fan of Selina Fenech!! Will be ordering more of her books for sure!! And I do recommend this book. Shipping was good. It came within the timeframe they gave and arrived in great condition - no damages to any of my books! Looking forward to finishing my current pages I have going right now so I can jump right in and get this book started!! Just know it's going to bring me many hours of enjoyment!!!!!

This is an absolutely stunning book and although there are only 25 designs to colour, there are two of each. This means you could either share the book to make it more cost effective or explore different mediums. I, for example, have enjoyed colouring one of the designs in in pencil to frame and the other in fibre tip simply for relaxation purposes.All the designs in this book are fabulous and it makes a refreshing change from all the floral, paisley and patterned books I've come across to date.

Really beautiful images in this book. There are 25 images in total, but you get two copies of each image - great if you want to do the picture again in different colours. The images are single sided, so even if you want to use pens, a sheet of card behind will protect the next design. The paper feels similar to that used in Balance by Angie Grace and Jenean Morrison's book - thin but actually takes felt pens without bleeding. Alcohol markers do bleed a lot in those though so if you use pens like Copics, I would definitely use a sheet of thin card behind to protect the next image. I am using pencils in this book as its my preferred medium so I haven't tested for bleeding.

I have just bought this book and I am delighted with it. I have about twenty colouring books but this is the first Selina French book that I have purchased. It will not be the last. The paper quality is very good, all pictures are single sided, and I like the fact that you have two sets of drawings so you can use different mediums and colour schemes. The drawings themselves are gorgeous, very realistic but with a delightful fantasy element. I love the fact that there is plenty going on in the background rather than just blank spaces. It truly is enchanting, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves colouring, it would also make a beautiful gift for someone who enjoys this hobby.

I love this book, and one of the main reasons is simply the detail, it allows you to develop your artistic skills as well as helping you to relax down and clear your mind. Another bonus is you have two of each picture. Why is that good for me? So I can try another colour combination. The fairy with the red hair and blue eyes, I am now making her skin a shade of blue and it gives it such a great look. I often look back on my previous works and wish I had done it a little different, well with this book you can. I would buy from this artist again.

Very poor quality paper and the ink smudges!!!! The pictures are lovely and I was so so disappointed, I like to colour and blend my pictures but it's just not possible. I would not recommend this colouring book to anyone, I have purchased lots and lots of colouring books off amazon and have been really pleased with them, this is one of the worst not just because of the poor paper and ink smudge, but because I think the price doesn't reflect the poor quality. It upsets me that I have to give such a poor review as I really admire the artist and think her pictures are amazing.
