Good quality dog food.
My dog loves Mighty Dog especially the chicken flavors. What has happened that I can’t find this dog food I my local grocery stores any longer? It is gone? Plus the last two shipments I ordered were filled with dented cans. Today’s shipment had one can burst open inside the box. What a mess. Too expensive for mailing to throw it around in transit. My dog loves this food though!

My diva won't eat this but it's a good choice for non picky eaters.
Well, I decided that maybe the Cesar 3.5 oz Multi-pack Wet Dog Food was a bit expensive for me to pay for my Yorkie to eat so I tried this Mighty Dog variety pack. Although Molly has tried it and snubbed her nose at it before, the price was right and flavors looked appetizing to me. I thought maybe she would give it a chance if I prettied it up with some Kibbles and Bits and a little fresh chicken or beef. The cans are easy to open and the food looks like real people food. It evens smells like stew or something.I cleverly dotted the food with fresh cooked meat and scattered a little of the Kibbles and Bits for small dogs that Molly likes and presented her with it. Hmm.. she ate the meat. Took a couple of pieces of the dry food and ... walked away. Foiled! My dog is the best dog ever but she is very, very picky about what she eats. I don't know how she got that way because, when I adopted her, she was 7 months old and only ate dry dog food. She was very underweight and I thought she would like anything but even then, she didn't like any of the varieties of dog food I gave her including Alpo, Pedigree, Beneful, Ole Roy (Ack!), Dad's, you name it. They say if a dog gets hungry enough they'll eat. Not this one! She would starve before she ate food she doesn't like.Having said that, I did review the Cesar food and said she would eat it and she will. Thankfully. I was just trying to get a bigger bang for my buck and hoping that my dog was more used to wet food after having eaten Cesar for a while. But nah. The food though is appetizing to look at and the ingredients, while not wonderful, are OK. My vet said she could eat this if I could get her to. She nibbled a little of one of the varieties a couple of times but I have a whole lot of dog food that my dog won't eat. The shelter will be happy about that.I do think though from experience with other dogs I have had, that this is a good choice for small breeds. The shredded kind always appealed to my dogs (although pate was off limits) and they were healthy and happy. They were never overweight and lived to be over 16 years old. (I had two dogs at once before I adopted Molly in 2013.)The price is right here on Amazon for this food and it has proven to be a decent choice. Just not for my picky eater. I am going with 3 stars because Molly says it is a 1 star food and I think it is a 4 star one. If your small breed is not picky, I do think he or she will like the texture and consistency of this food. If your dog is like mine, you may have to do more searching. I just added a couple of cases of Cesar to my subscribe and save account because it is all my dog will eat and it is cheaper here than at the store. It's pricier than Mighty Dog but she actually consumes it. This food is recommended for small dogs or any dogs who like food that looks and smells like real food and who aren't divas like mine.

We need might dog, nothing else hood
This is the only wet food my Bichon Frisée will eat. I don’t understand why Purina has stopped making it. We have ordered from everyplace we know of but no one has it. Why do they do that .When you find the right one they stop making it. Not very happy

My Dog Likes it But It Tastes Weird
I guess dogs generally don't care what their food tastes like unless it's really bad. After I opened up a can for my dog I looked at it and it looked like little pieces of meat in a dark sauce. Well, of course I wanted to taste it myself just to see what she was tasting. I took a very small sample and, "blech!" it was pretty bitter. I haven't examined the actual contents yet to see if it's full of fillers, additives and other cheap products but I'm not holding my breath that it's healthy food. I only bought this because it was on sale and I thought my dog would like a break every now and then from dry dog food. Since she's a chihuahua I can afford to buy her the good stuff and will spend the bucks on the best dry dog food available. I'm even thinking about making my own dog food and just freezing it and never buy commercial junk again. I guess what I do like are the small cans and the ability to store it for extended periods of time without it going bad.

My dogs like it
I have two older dogs and this is the only moist dog food that they like, which for me is a win

I mix half and half into their bowls with some dry kibble and they LOVE it. They cannot get enough of the taste ...
I purchase a box every month to feed my two dogs (husky/lab mix and small shitzu mix). I mix half and half into their bowls with some dry kibble and they LOVE it. They cannot get enough of the taste of these cans! Three different flavors and types of meat so they don't get bored with just one flavor. Affordable and portioned just right!
