This mitt works very well, however don't expect more than about 10 minutes of useable heat as it seems to cool down relatively fast, but that is probably just enough anyway. I put it in our 1,100-watt microwave for 2 minutes, shake it a bit to distribute the beads, then carefully put my hand in watching for hotspots, sometimes waiting up to a minute for it to cool down a little. Then I get about 10 minutes of useable warmth. Directions say to then wait at least two hours before heating again in order to regain moisture from the air, and warn against spraying it with water or submerging it as a shortcut, but I have actually re-heated it an additional minute without dire consequences to get an additional 5 minutes or so of heat. Does a good job of completely surrounding the hand with moist heat, also can used as a regular heat pack simultaneously by placing it on either my neck or other wrist while my hand is inside, a plus. Has held up well for several weeks now and well over 100 heatings, feels like good quality fabric and stitching. If it were a little less pricey I would buy two...

Really niiice. I use this for finger joint aches. It is actually moist when you put your hand in. Instructions tell you to wait a couple hours before reheating. The third time you heat it, the moisture is way less. The heat lasts for 5-10 minutes, so I usually give it a second or third microwave zap. Don't go over 1.5 minutes in 1100watt microwave or it will get way too hot. I wish they made one for feet.

Mitt heats up in 30 - 60 seconds; however, it cools down completely in about 5 minutes! According to the instructions, you are suppose to wait at least 2 hours to reheat the mitt. I would not recommend this product.

Even with an 1100 watt microwave this did not heat well. I gave it double the recommended. Ended up using a very fine mist of water to help the process. Now, this was in the winter so there was not a lot of humidity in our house. Maybe a contributing factor. The idea is great. Execution maybe not as good.

This heats evenly and is long enough (on me) to cover my wrist as well. I tried several other products before this and none of them were long enough to accommodate fingertips to wrist. The only complaint I have is that the beads start gravitating to one end or another, so my fingertips don't feel like there is enough beads/warmth surrounding them (which is a main reason I purchased it). Otherwise I have to keep shifting up or down to move the beads.

I ordered this for my mom who broke her wrist in a car accident and is currently undergoing physical therapy. She was having trouble with stiffness in her fingers and her therapist suggested heat treatments at home to help. She uses this once or twice a day and it has helped alot with the stiffness and numbness in her fingers, allowing her to complete her exercises with ease. Her only complaint is that it will only stay warm for about 20-25 minutes and she wishes it were longer.

When first received, the inside of the package was visibly covered in a dusty film. Since I needed a hand warmer as part of hand therapy after surgery, I washed the mit and used anyway. It heats well but unfortunately, the heat dissapates within 3 to 4 minutes. Then per the directions, you need to wait several hours before reheating. Just don't feel this product lived up to its description.

EXCELLENT. Purchased due to awful arthritic pain in my hand and fingers and this heated mitt is a God sent. Put in microwave for 60 seconds and it helps so much. This is also big enough that it fits small to really large hands. You get one mitt, so if you want to do both hands you need to purchase 2. This product is well worth the price. It is an excellent quality product. 10 star product!!!
