Q: Can the seller provide info on what is the product from (not packaged?) If someone has it in bag can you please show a photo of it? Mine doesn't have

The front of the package states it is packaged in the U.S. but in the corner of the front of the package, it states the raw materials are from China. Is the reason the company does not display a photo of the back of the package due to the product being manufactured, processed and sourced from China? I really dislike deceptive advertising.

Q: Will xylitol work in breaf recipes using almond or coconut flour?

I read for the same reason it helps with tooth decay it may not be best to use for yeast based recipes in lieu of sugar. In this process the yeast eats the sugar to produce the bubbles for lifting. If teeth bacteria can’t digest it like sugar. The yeast may not be able to metabolize the xylitol. So I would do some research before using it in this manner.

No, there are no other ingredients. On the back of the bag of xylitol, it says, "Ingredients: Pure Xylitol Crystals." I highly recommend this brand, by the way; this xylitol tastes very similar to table sugar.

Q: how is the xylitol extracted for DureLife Birch Sugar? Is hydorchloric acid used?

I am NOT a scientist but, reading the ingredients & the "explanation" given on the package; it does not mention hydorchloric acid! (it is the closest to real sugar taste & texture I have ever found)! It is distributed by Durelife in Blauvelt NY 10913 so maybe you could contact them & ask!
