Bought this to bind together sections of water heater insulation blankets that I cut to make insulation blankets for my garage doors. Years ago, I purchased pre-made vinyl covered garage door insulation blankets and they worked great. It appears they are no longer made so I created my own after installing new garage doors. This tape worked perfectly on the vinyl coverings to seam the pieces together. It also bonded well to the garage doors at the edges. For a long lasting bond, I would recommend cleaning the surfaces with alcohol or acetone first and letting it evaporate before applying the tape. Make sure you apply it where you want it the first time as it's difficult to remove. If you accidentally touch the sticky sides together, you better cut another piece as it's nearly impossible to pull the tape back apart without ripping it. Based on how aggressively it sticks to vinyl, I believe it would also be an excellent choice for PE sheet films and vapor barrier. --------------------------- PS - Recently, I reordered this product for another project.. This tape sticks well to most any clean dry surface. Make sure you have it where you want it when applying because it's nearly impossible to reposition once in place. And, when applying a long section of tape, if it touches itself you might as well cut off that section out and start over. You likely won't be able to separate the contact point. Versatile and effective tape for the right projects. Some of the stickiest stuff I've ever used.

Bought this to seal seems in sheet insulation inside red iron steel building. This stuff will stick to wet glass! I’ve found lots of other uses as well. Sealing plastic sheeting under a pier and beam house and various repairs on anything I don’t want to come loose. Very tenacious holding power and extremely tough.

The best thing about this stuff is that it is Super Sticky. The worst thing about it is it is Super Sticky, so place it correctly 'csuse you will immediately own it. Start somewhere where no one will see it, by the end of your job, you will be doing it better, straighter, neater, longer pieces. For long pieces I learned to stick one end of it at the top of a ladder, and pull it all the way down for my length, and stick the other end on another step of the ladder. Then when I cut it, it would not curl up on itself and ruin itself.

This stuff is really awesome. We were putting down a vapor barrier and the stickiness of the tape and its width is really good. It has now gone through one whole season and the adhesion is still as strong as the day it was installed. I would buy this product again

I purchased this tape not knowing how well it would hold the moisture barrier under the mobile home. It met the challenge and has a strong hold. If using, clean the area of any dirt and this tape will do its job.

Ohh yah, this is an awesome product.

Used it on under slab EPS and it worked really well, stayed together even after heavy rains!!

This tape is pricey but it’s very good at sealing seams of vapour barrier.
