My children, ages 7 and 9, have been into military anything for the last 3 years. My 7 year old wants to be an Army sniper and my 9 year old wants to be a Navy SEAL when they grow up! They wanted these for Halloween costumes but they are pretty good quality and can be used for more than just Halloween...and I'm SURE they will wear them whenever they get a chance! They were very excited and happy this morning when I "fluffed" the "grass" on the jackets and pants so they could wear them to school. The only thing that I would have liked is a heavier fabric, and better quality buttons. The fabric is a mesh type and the "grass" is sewn on it, and plastic buttons always break when kids are unbuttoning/buttoning them. The suits still look great when they are wearing them!

It was easy to put on and take off. My son got great compliments when he went to school at Halloween. No hood though during school hours, just the jacket and pants. It can be a bit warm so wear appropriate undergarments based on your region if wearing it for extended periods. Overall I would recommend this if you want a child's Ghillie suit. You might be able to use this hunting, but it will need to be seasoned appropriately or any critter worth his weight will tell your coming.

I bought this for my 10 yr old grandson who is obsessed with camo and Army stuff. All the boys at his birthday party were in awe of this ghillie suit and wanted one for themselves. He wore it for Halloween and loves to hide in the bushes in his backyard and play army. The suit is well made and fit him perfectly. He is not a tall 10 yr old, so the medium was perfect. I would recommend the Ghillie Suit for any boy that still likes to dress up and play army. Of course, the grown men like to wear these also so I suppose it is not limited to "little boys" but "big boys" as well.

This is a cute kids costume, but the little strings that make up the exterior constantly knot up and don't lay how they are supposed to. This annoyed my son to the point he wouldn't wear it.

My eight year old loves it. The strings are slowly coming off, but not bad enough to really complain. Keep in mind the strings are more like yarn, so they pick up every leaf, stick and pine needle they come in contact with.

Both of my sons decided to use their birthday money to buy these suits for themselves. I was worried that the quality might be low and the boys would be disappointed, so I was very pleasantly surprised when they arrived and the boys put them on for the first time. They are well made, easy to put on, and look great. Even with all the use they're getting, I think the suits should last until the boys outgrow them.

It is as good as any I have seen at gander or bass pro which is not that great. It was however at a large savings over their prices so that is why it got 5 stars. If you want something to use roughly and multiple times make your own from scratch. Absent that this is as good as any and the price was real right.

My son wanted to wear this for Halloween. It was unique...no one else had on one. Some people knew what he was while others had to ask. In the dark, he did sort of look like "It" from the Addam's Family! LOL He really enjoyed it and felt like he was really in the military. His only complaint was that his head got hot with the headpiece on.
