OOFOS OOlala Women's Sandal - Lightweight Recovery Footwear - Reduces Stress on Feet, Joints & Back - Machine Washable

I have suffered PF followed by the standard complement of heel spurs in my left foot for 16 months. Being a chef on my feet all day, proper support is of the utmost importance, not to mention my arches are very high. I have gone through compression socks, different types of work and athletic shoes, arch supports, heel cushions, you name it. I had to continuously stretch my foot out every morning just to be able to walk on it. Nothing was working. I wore my standard combo of a compression sock over an arch support wrap whenever I was walking around the house (I have always walked barefoot in the house) or in sandals outside. More than anything they simply made it a bit easier to walk, but did nothing to encourage the healing process. After searching for highly rated supportive sandals to wear around the house, these not only appeared at the top of the list, but also were the only sandals in which reviewers were specifically mentioning how these helped their PF. After receiving my pair in the mail I have discovered a heaven for my ailing foot. The support and cushion, not to mention the gait correction, worked so effectively quick that my pain has practically vanished within a month. Now, my feet feel naked without them on. I wear them everywhere, then quickly wash the bottoms to wear in the house. I was to the point of expecting to get foot surgery, when all I needed was proper cushion and support at all times, which these sandals provided. Thank you Oofos. I will be purchasing more soon.

Where have these shoes been all my life? Wow, just wow. I have wide feet with really high arches. I get a lot of foot pain to the point that some days I can barely walk. I have spent a fortune on various types of sandals/ shoes trying to find the perfect fit but was able to until now. These sandals are amazing. They form perfectly to my feet and give great arch support. They are like walking on marshmallows and really do sooth and stretch out my feet as I walk. I wear them everywhere, including in the shower. I love them so much I bought a second pair. When one pair gets dirty, I throw them in the wash and grab the other. I also bought a pair for my husband. He has narrow feet with a normal arch. The shoe forms perfectly to his foot too while soothing them after a hard day at work. Size wise, these are true to size. I wear a 10 wide in sandals and 10 1/2 wide other women's shoes. The unisex size 10 women/8 men fits perfectly. They do not absorb water so can easily be towel dried if they get wet. These flip flops are by far the most comfortable I have ever owned.

The Periwinkle is just gorgeous! And I LOVE Oofos anything now! They are water proof, I toss them right in the washer when they are really dirty - and I can dress up or down with them. The inner thong never pulls out, as many other thong styles I had bought in the past..because it is one whole piece. The reason I bought my first pair a few years ago on Amazon was because I had the heel spur thing. This did straighten that issue right out. Losing 20 pounds and walking more also helped. Since I love these so much and they last THREE TIMES LONGER than say NIKE Air Cushion thongs, get dirty far less, and are water proof - I bought these in every color. I have white, fuchia, lavender, and most recently black. The black are stunning and I should have bought them first...mainly because they will never show dirt. I wish I had these shoes years ago. For travel they are also light weight in luggage which can matter these days when flying. *I do not understand why they are saying I bought a mans 6. I am a wide size 8 woman's and whatever I really did order-fit perfect. Maybe they call it man's 6 but I think I bought woman's 8.

This is my second pair (first pair, black, was bought in store). These are sold as 'recovery' footwear for runners and athletes, but if you spend a good deal of time on your feet during the day, if you have knee, hip, back issues, these flip flops are of great relief at the end of the day. I kept telling my husband how comfortable they were (phenomenal arch support and excellent cushioning for a flip flop) that he bought a pair and loves his, as well. When you come home from work, but still need to cook dinner, do laundry and spend time with the family, these help make that possible. Very happy with the price (I paid $55 for first pair...these were half, but even at $50 these are well worth it!) and very happy with my purchase overall.

I'm still figuring out how I feel about these shoes. For starters, I cannot deny that when I put them on, they have a lot of support for a flip flop. Now this could be because I have a high arch, but I feel as if the arch part is up higher in the shoe, more below the pad below my big toe as opposed to an inch lower in the middle of my foot. Sorry, I don't know the proper foot "parts". However, I thought this could be how they are designed so they are more comfortable? I have a skinny foot and wear a size 7. I bought the size 7 and they looked HUGE on my feet. So I bought the size 6 and they fit better but seem a little too small in the length of my foot. I kept the size 6 so I didn't look like I was wearing my dads shoes. The part where the toes goes though is still pretty big but again, I have skinny feet and wide shoes look huge on my feet. I could really use the half size in this shoe so if anyone from the OOFOS reads this, half sizes would be great in these. I'm retracing 1 star just for the odd fit. I'm hoping this type of construction is intentional and is good for my foot. I almost feel that the arch part is making the top part of my foot arch over a bump and that leaves my arch not supported but perhaps it's giving me better support? I know that I can stand in these for a long time without my feet hurting so I think they are working.

Light weight but fits and feels perfectly snug...just love this company...I was going to try before you buy two other models from other companies, but I canceled the order because it is a waste of money and of my time. Finally, I set my sight on these, OoFfos! They are slick and stick right on the bottoms of your feet the way nature intended. It is really like walking barefoot, worry-free of getting your feet cut or damaged by any object that would injure your tender feet!

I had been reading & seeing a lot of oofos hype. So I order a pair of slides just to see if they were as comfortable as people claimed. This thong sandal is the second pair of oofos I now have. Yes, they are as comfortable as advertised. i will be expanding my oofos wardrobe soon. They are reasonably priced, color and style selection is good and they are true to size. They make great house shoes. They would also be good for those long walks in the airport when your plane taxis to the farthest gate.
