Very good results, much like the “lunch peel “. I am going to try more sweeps as I have had so many deep peels at $ 400 a piece with the salons. My skin is pretty tough, I have noticed a clarity and glow however at 62. I would recommend this for anyone who typically does skin peels regularly.

If you’re new to chemical exfoliation, this is actually a good product and strength to start with. **However — do NOT leave it on longer than 45 seconds to 1 minute.** Seriously. Leaving it on too long is how people end up with burns and then blame the product instead of realizing they didn’t understand how chemical peels work. It’s really simple to use: 1. Wash your face and let it dry completely. 2. Apply a healing ointment to sensitive areas — around the eyes, corners of the nose, and around the mouth. 3. Have cool water ready with a little baking soda or vinegar mixed in, plus a soft towel nearby so you can neutralize it immediately if needed. As soon as you start to feel a strong burning sensation, gently wipe it off with the cool water and towel. If you’re a beginner, **don’t apply it to your whole face at once.** Start small. Use a brush and apply it to just your forehead first. When it starts to tingle/burn, wait about 30–35 seconds, then wipe it off. Work in small sections like that until your skin builds tolerance. After about 5–10 sessions, you can slowly increase the time — and I mean by **seconds, not minutes.** For example, go from 45 seconds to 55 seconds. Wait 2–3 weeks between sessions, and only increase by 5–10 seconds at a time. Do NOT leave it on for 3–5 minutes your first time unless you’re trying to seriously damage your skin. Chemical peels are effective, but they’re not something you rush.

I am MALE, but very conscious of my skin and finally ordered Perfect Image after using a product with Glycolic Acid (only 8%) and being happy with the results that the small concentration of Glycolic Acid within a lotion gave me. I started with Level 1 and quickly moved up to Level 2 after very carefully following all directions contained with the products. I've noticed a change with my skin within 2-3 days after first using the Level 1 product. After going through 2-3 procedures with the Level 2 product, I've noticed a slight decrease in uneven skin pigment and dark spots/colors on my forehead from sun exposure as a teen ager. Skin moisture and elasticity were also increased. A Glycolic acid peel is a very common entry-level peel that is tolerable by almost all people. I plan on moving up to Lactic Acid and/or TCA peels that Perfect image also offers after I'm finished with the Level 2 bottle. This should help even more with wrinkle and pigment/discoloration that have been plugging my face for years. Some important tips when using this product: - Follow the directions and documentation with the product! It is a wealth of information and Perfect Image makes it clear they want you to succeed when using it as well as making sure your experience is successful. - Be very gentle with your skin the first 3-5 days after application of this product. Do not SCRUB, rough-up or use harsh cleansers on your skin. Gently pat dry your skin and use a mild, high quality face soap for those first few days after the application. - Use a good quality moisturizer on your face for the the first few days as well. You won't "peel" in the literal sense but you will notice "flakes" (almost like dandruff) that fall off onto your clothes and may gather up on areas of your face. - For those who know they are sensitive skin users, definitely purchase a lotion with Glycolic acid in it (10% of less). This will greatly decrease any possible sensitivity when starting with Level1 on this product since your skin will have a chance to acclimate to it.

I am 55 with melasma on my neck and sunspots. I have crows feet and my skin has changed since menopause. I have used 30% Glycolic Acid for over a decade and was ready for a stronger peel. I like that this peel has retinol and green tea extract. This peel is fantastic! The directions inside the box are complete and very informative. You can apply about 5 passes MAX with the cotton round. I only did two passes on my arms and legs. Gently in circular motion. If you are new to peeling, do less passes and when it starts to sting, rinse it off. You should be able to go longer each time you peel. Do not peel more than once a week! Maybe to the face every two weeks and the body every week. I applied to face, neck, chest and legs (not my knees but I just forgot! always forget the knees!) I left mine on for 14 minutes total but If you are a newbie please don't do it that long. I am a veteran peeler and my skin is adapted to 30% so 50% was just right. I am excited to see results. I have tried the TCA peels and they are disheartening and the peeling is unsightly. Rinse with cool water to neutralize the acid and put on squalane oil after, a gentle moisturizer or vaseline if your skin is tender. I like the smooth feel of my skin after. My skin is tender on my chin so I will only do a total of 8 minutes next time and three passes with a cotton swab. My skin was tingling on my arms and chest after 10 minutes. I also like to neutralize with baking soda and water mixed together on the stinging skin on my face and neck and then hop in the shower to neutralize legs and arms etc... Happy Peeling and this is an affordable way to lessen age spots and melasma.

This is amazing. I have dark brown skin, with years of neglected hyperpigmentation around my chin and cheeks, and in my large pores making them look deeper than they actually are. I used this and kept it on for two minutes, then rinsed it off with cold water, then let my skin breathe for about an hour with just spritzes of organic aloe vera juice, before gently massaging on vitamin e oil. Yes, it hurt omg this was making me tear up, but that's the price to get a layer of dead skin off. I read that after 30's it can take double the time (about 60 days) for face skin to fully renew itself, so I used this to help speed up that process, and give my other serums and moisturizers a chance to work faster. It took about two days for the redness to go down and I kept the vitamin e and aloe vera juice in a spritzer bottle handy and it worked well. Also use strong sunscreen, I love Black Girl Sunscreen for all types and shades of skin, because of the excellent ingredients and how it fades quickly. Everyone can use it. This product is excellent.

I’m not sure if formula changed or my skin is different now . But this use to help my cystic acne and take the dead skin off . Now it just burns and no layer of skin comes off and even caused sores . I don’t do it everyday maybe twice a month . But the results have changed and I’m sad this way my holy grail . I was built up to 2 minutes tolerance now I can hardly stand a min .

I us d it once then I used it again on Friday. My face started to burn the minute I applied it. I immediately washed it off. Next day my skin had bubbled up my laugh lines and upper lip was irrited. On Sunday my sky n started to peel. It’s Monday and I have irritated skin and it’s starting to scab again.
