Thrilled I found these on Amazon as allergic to soy and nuts and other items - these are delicious! in Chocolate Chip cookies and chocolate chip Banana bread...they were $14 cheaper than another source on Amazon so greatful for that savings.

These are a God-send for those of us who are allergic to soy (soy lecithin is an integral ingredient of chocolate). They are a bit more expensive than the "regular" chocolate chunks you buy in the supermarket to put in your favorite cookie recipe, but worth every extra penny to be able to enjoy those cookies like everyone else. They are also great eaten simply "out of hand" if you want just a little nibble of candy, as they are good sized for a chocolate chunk. Don't, however, expect them to stay somewhat softened in those cookies, once baked - that doesn't seem to be what happens with soy-free chocolate chips and chunks. Oh, they will be just as decadently ooey-gooey and melty while the cookies are still warm and straight out of the oven (and who doesn't enjoy snacking on one of those, when you're the baker?), but once cooled they revert to their original form and don't really melt any into the surrounding cookie like the "regular" ones do. Yummy, though! I've found that any soy-free chocolate, including Enjoy Life brand products, tends to lean more to the dark chocolate flavor, even if they are "semi-sweet" (like these chunks), or marked "milk" , but it's not a problem or complaint - merely an observation on my part. I have recommended these to many friends and family members and they are a life-line to folks with soy-allergy, like myself. I would not only be soy-free but chocolate-free without the Enjoy Life product line, especially these!

My family loves everything Enjoy Life, especially the Chocolate Chips and Mega Chunks! As someone with food allergies finding a good chocolate for use in recipies was a miracle. These are so good that they just don't last around the house because everyone snacks on them plain!. Even my friends without food allergies love everything about these Mega Chunks. They are every bit as good as many of the gourmet chocolates and, in my opinion, better than the "regular" chocolates that I can no longer eat. The simple ingredient list means that you are just getting rich, creamy Chocolate. That is the way it should be! Amazon is almost always the cheapest place to buy these too, so make sure to grab plenty and save.

Make sure you do your research to get your money's worth! **Original Review** I bought these to make my vegan waffles with in the mornings. I was addicted. I made sure they lasted me for a long while. Excellent quality. Now I go back to purchase more, and they took off Prime shipping (now its nearly $10), and bumped up the price to thirty something dollars! When I had gotten them for about $21. Ridiculous. They are just chocolate chips. I guess I will just have to purchase them elsewhere. Very disappointed with the seller. One star because that price increase is just infuriating.

Use these for everything!

These chocolate bits are well worth the price - the texture is somewhat "hard" compared with standard grocery store chocolate chips but that's a small price to pay given the fact that these are soy-free. I have chopped these and used them in brownies with excellent results and will probably chop and put them into chocolate chip cookies next. I ordered the Mega Chunks because the chips were out of stock at the time and the Mega Chunks were a better price-per-package anyway. Pleased with this purchase!

I love the Enjoy Live mini chocolate chips. I thought it would be nice to try the mega chunks. The size of the chips make it perfect for snacking or if you want larger chunks when cooking. However, I noticed the taste was not the same. This confused me since I checked the posted ingredients before purchasing, and they were the same as the mini chocolate chips. When I looked at the package I saw that the ingredients are not what is listed. The actual ingredients on the product that I received is Evaporated Cane Juice, Natural Chocolate Liquor (Non-Alcoholic), Non-Dairy Cocoa Butter. This leads to a darker chocolate taste from the mini chocolate chips. I also find a bit of an aftertaste when eating plan. However, they should be great for cooking.

As a family of 7 with food sensitivities, it can be hard to find products that everyone in our household can "safely" eat. The Enjoy Life Mega Chocolate Chip Chunks are perfect for us! These chips contain NO dairy or soy, have great chocolate flavor, and do not separate out of gluten free batters and doughs like the EL mini chips do (which we still use and enjoy). The sky is the limit on the uses for these chocolate chunks... we have made chocolate coated fruit, nuts, & bacon, peanut butter cups, truffles, cookies, muffins, cakes, pies, and trail mix. This is a steal... we can not beat the price on Amazon as each bag runs $5.99 in our local stores.
