Big heat output. Needs foil over the breather holes on the side, if you want to stir-fry, but excellent for general purpose cooking. The screws for the air mix control were seized on mine, which is supremely annoying, but everything else was great. Good gas control, casters are fine, legs are sturdy enough, and the quality of the material is good. I’ve run mine pretty hard, so it has some discoloring at the top of the wind shield, but no big deal, and I’m glad it has that. I’ve cooked for crowds plenty of times with it, and it’s definitely done the trick. Gas consumption is about what you’d expect. Making stew, it’ll do a high simmer for 3-6 days on one standard US-sized convenience store propane tank. Blasting along like the surface of the sun, doing stir-fry, you might drain the same sized tank in 4-5 hours, but you can admire the ice crystals on the outside of the propane tank while you’re cooking.

The media could not be loaded. I have owned several outdoor burners and two wok burners and I must say this one rocks. I just cooked 200# of fresh cut fries for Halloween and it kept up fine.I read the other reviews and the complaints were the ability to use a small or pow wok. Out of the box those woks will not work however it would be extremely easy to alter to accommodate them. I have used this for steaming, boiling, frying and even use it to boil down sap for maple syrup. I can do a seafood boil for 50+ people at a time. I used the burner for a 62qt stainless steel pot. It heats up a full pot of water fast. I have used this about30 times for various cooking and canning events. I'm really happy with this purchase. The set up was quick. All of the legs are clearly marked, which makes it almost foolproof. It can be broken down easily to store or stow.

First off, what other reviewers say about the packaging is true. My shipping box was damaged and all the assembly parts were floating around loose inside. Some mounting screws were missing, but instead of sending it back I bought my own at the local hardware store.Second, this thing is HUGE and HOT. Think about this if you lack space in your garage or other area you might store it. Moving from inside to outdoors can be a hassle.Third, this is the biggest issue and can be a deal breaker. The burner design heats the wok hotter (much hotter) on the sides and not the bottom. Opposite of normal wok design and cooking method. You cook the food by moving it up the sides of the wok, this is normally the cooling area where you control the speed and heat of the food being prepared.Overall, it's well built. The size makes it more suitable for cooking for a large group or family and not just for one or two people. Storage and moving the burner from inside to outside can be an issue because of its size, it does have high quality wheels to help with this, but that works best on concrete and not gravel or grass. The burner issue can be corrected by modifying the mount to adjust the height, but not everyone is willing or comfortable with doing this.

Really nice burner

I was a little nervous because of the comments about the packaging, but when I received my unit, it was fine and was not damaged. Could it be packaged better, yes. The assembly was use and I had the unit up and running the next day.Note: If you are going to use this unit to wok fry, the wok needs to be at least 22" in diameter or it will be too small.

This is a 200,000 BTU professional propane burner that is great for use in your back yard. You need to separately buy a standard propane tank and a 22” wok (preferably blue carbon steel) to set on the station. It produces a great amount of heat so you get that great wok-cooked taste. If anything, it is on the hot side, which is great because some wok stations have only 50,000 BTU. I have been using this wok station every day for a couple of months and it is wonderful. I would buy it again anytime. I highly recommend it.Probably the biggest negative is that the Burner is really hot, and if you turn it down too much, it will go out. It took me a while to get used to the propane gas control. Another thing is that there is no igniter to light the propane--you have to use a lighter stick, and when the Burner lights it will burn your hand if you don't have a heavy glove on your hand.

Definitely recommended 100%
