I ordered this for my 3rd grader who was doing a biography on Amelia Earhart. She dressed up in the hat, googles and scarf and we just had to add a jacket and she looked great! For the money it was fine.

My daughter did a living history presentation over Amelia Earhart and this was the perfect costume for the presentation. She did great and received bonus points for authenticity of looking like her character!

I am a 6'6" man, but when I put on this disguise people really think I am Amelia Earhart and ask me where I have been all these years. I wouldn't use this for undercover work because when people see Amelia Earhart they usually want to come up to her and chat. A more inconspicuous disguise may work better.

Terrible and a waste of money!
Shame on you Amazon for continuing to provide this terrible disquise kit! Your own description under the product details reads "Color: As shown," which would make a customer believe that the aviator cap was brown ,"as shown" in the picture. The hat that comes with the kit is white and looks like a swimmer's cap. I should have looked at the reviews before purchasing. How do I get my money back? Do you even read these reviews yourselves? There are 9 reviews as I'm writing this and 6 of them are 1 star only, all with the same complaint. The first review back in 2008 by jlo1 in Poughkeepsie, says that it's a white cap. At the very least, have someone update the description of the product, so if a customer makes the same mistake and not read the reviews first, at least they are getting what they bought. (I wish I read the reviews first.)
