Is this double insulated?

No, it is not even singularly insulated. Pretty but mainly a champagne holder, does not keep cold. A shame since height and look is perfect. It also rusts pretty quickly.

How do the handles screw in?

The handles screw in is simple. Hopefully the attached video shows you the placement of screws. It only takes 2 screws, one on each side. I have had this for a few years now and it looks great. I like to use it in the house and my back yard. Family and friends always give compliments. The bucket is removable and you can place the bucket on a table or just leave it on it’s stand. Either way it looks great.

What is the diameter of the bottom of the bucket?

I’m answering this because Alejandro is my favorite name in the whole world. The bottom of the bucket is 6 inches. I’m glad you asked because the last time I used it I must’ve dripped champagne underneath the bucket and there was all this white mold. So, make sure you wash it and dry it after every use. I would not have noticed for a long time if you hadn’t asked That thing was sitting right next to my bed, so thank you so much for asking.

Champagne / wine stand

I was surprised at how good and sturdy it is. It looks very good and elegant. Nice set up while sipping champagne or wine. I like that you can take the bucket off the stand. You can take the bucket to fill it up with ice and place it back on the stand. Great option.

Not what I expecte in terms of quality andn twice what you think it's going to cost!

Soot inside bucket - possibly from heat; I can't remove it or don't have the correct product to remove it. It's for a friend for his birthday, so I wanted something nice. Worse - I was charged an ADDITIONAL €49,13 upon delivery. If this was mentioned in the Amazon description, I sure did't see it. If I had known, I would have spent the money on 2 bottles of champagne and left the bucket in India.

Missing parts!

Came without the rod to hold the pedestal together. Customer support was unable to ship that part separately. I do not recommend! Getting a $25 credit doesn’t help with a defective product this expensive
