Really good paint!! I got 4 bottles of the candy pink colour to paint the outside of my hamsters enclosure with! I'm amazed by how much I was able to do! I managed to do the entire outside of the cage, including the back, with just 2 bottles!! I didnt put a second coat on, but felt like I really didn't need to. It has great coverage! Colour is nice and vibrant and it dried really well! It dried a slightly darker pink to when it went on. It seems the wood took the paint really well! No streaks! I had to go over a few tiny darker patches a couple times, and that was it! It was a lovely smooth consistency and went on really well. Pretty much perfect consistency. Not too thick. Not thin. Just right! Didn't clog up and the best part is it's really easy to clean up! I accidentally got a bit of paint on the perspex windows and was able to easily wipe it off with some kitchen roll! Easy! I also got some on the kitchen floor. No problem! It just wipes away with a damp cloth. Didn't stain my hands or clothes. Was easy to rinse off the paint brushes and bowl! And it doesn't smell strong. Honestly was pretty impressed especially for how cheap they are! And I still have 2 bottles spare that I didn't even need!!

Can't go wrong, it dried quickly and had good coverage with a couple layers. The matt effect works well with clay, and the tube is generous in size

I bought this to do some art work on a canvas, the quality of the paint is good and i was able to get the desired effect. The paint is thick so it brushed onto the canvas nicely, i also mixed it with other colours which also turned out very nice. A little went a long way and what i loved is that it dried really quickly.

This is okay but takes more coats than others as is too thin.

I bought a ton of colors because the price went way down. I'm not going to review them one by one, so here is a collective review for all the Apple Barrel paints. I've used this brand acrylic paint for over 20 years. The paint is awesome. I believe it's mostly non toxic, tho I would advise against eating it. The colors are vibrant and stay that way. I have rocks that I painted 10 years ago that still look great, even some of the ones that were outside! I just recently began crafting with polymer clay. This is a new medium to me and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Sometime pieces need to be painted so naturally I grabbed my Apple Barrel paints and went to town. The paint sticks to the polymer clay great! It looks really good too. I will attach a picture of some miniature food I made for my dollhouse out of polymer clay and was painted with Apple Barrel paint. The ruler in the picture is centimeters. There's pretzels, croissants, bread, and crackers in the picture. I really appreciate all the colors this company offers as well. I know you can mix your own colors but this is so nice to have it already mixed in a bigger quantity than one time use, esp if you're like me and want to come back and paint something else the same color, you don't have to worry about matching the color if it's all from the same batch. And at the time of this writing, a huge majority of the colors are at such a great price you really can afford to get all the colors you need. When you're done working on your project, clean up is real easy with this stuff as well. I've never had to use anything stronger than just soap and water to get it off my hands. I have found this paint definitely will stain clothes, so make sure you don't wear something you don't want stained forever! As far as surfaces I painted on, I just lay down newspaper or a silicone mat and there are no problems at all with cleanup. *This is just for the defective bottle: I have used Apple Barrel paints for 20+ years and I usually get A+ product. This one either was bad product or a defective bottle, or both. It was obviously packed after it already started leaking. None of the other bottles in the entire package had issues at all - just this one. Picture is attached so you can see. Other than this I really think Apple Barrel products are fantastic and definitely highly recommend. I didn't bother with a return because Amazon actually wanted me to drive to the UPS store to return it... A 50 cent bottle of paint. It would've cost more in gas to drive to the place. I'll get over it. It was only one out of more than 20 bottles I ordered to have an issue.
