Can you use sublimination? Anyone tried it?

I dont recommend due to them not being straight. They are tapered. I found out by using fabric

Are these comfortable to drink from without the lid or straw?

I find it perfectly comfortable:) However, maybe a personal preference….. I always have smoothies in mine… so the cold metal cup may be a factor.(I like the straw) It’s wide enough for my face to fit in comfortably 😂 lol… 🤷♀️
