Love love love it! Thick, plush, and wool. Very soft underfoot and a beautiful bright green color to bring brightness into my boys room makeover. It's a bit scratchy, but not enough to make it uncomfortable to lay on. Of course there is shedding, but nothing that the vacuum can't handle. Really can't beat this quality for this price.

I just received this rug yesterday (green). I l9ve the look and feel of the rug a lot! The gold dots are raised, so you can feel them when you walk on it, but that doesn't bother me at all. I'm interested to see how it holds up over time, but I'm super happy with it!!

Before I bought this rug, I read the reviews and was somewhat concerned about the reports of shedding. I had also planned to use the rug in the kitchen and, because it was wool, was apprehensive about food spills. I can report that, yes, it did shed quite a bit at first. It still sheds a tiny bit but nothing that a quick vacuum doesn't cure. Inevitably, there were food spills. First, the rug is very forgiving about showing dirt. Second, for stains I used my Oreck Orbiter carpet cleaner...and the rug looked like new. I highly recommend this rug!

A great deal on a real wool rug. The green is bright. Lays flat and doesn't move around with just a cheap grippy mesh rug pad. Soft and thick. I use it as a hearth rug, as wool doesn't burn, and it looks much better than typical rugs sold for that purpose

The Color is beautiful, but the rug is ruined because of the dots. These dots are NOT flush with the top of the carpet. The dots are raised. This makes it very uncomfortable when you step on one. We have to constantly look where we are stepping to avoid the dots. We do not recommend this particular design. Also, the gold dots are not all gold. They are a mixture of gold and blue yarn. If it were not for the dots, it would be a great rug. Safavieh wool rugs are generally a really good buy.

So, we bought two of these rugs for our home office. They are very nice but there is definitely constant shedding. Even after one month, the shedding requires literally daily vaccuming. Another new thing to be aware of is carpet beetles. We could not understand why there were so many little beetles- do not bite, harm pets or anything like that- but apparently it is common for these larvae to be in rugs. Well we have them. The remedy is not easy- it requires removal and outdoor treatment. I would recommend if you buy these rugs that you leave them outside or in the garage and maybe pretreat them with diatomaceous earth or cedar chips. Again, these are not biting or flying around. These bugs are docile. But, buyer beware.

Beautiful rug but after a few months of regular vacuuming, it still sheds like crazy. I could have knitted 3 sweaters with what has ended up in my vacuum. I love it anyway and very nice quality.

I wasn't sure if I'd like this "grass" green color. It is bright green. I jokingly called it astro turf carpeting at first. But I have a lot of plants in my living room. I also accent with creams/whites/yellows in my furnishings. My room has a very fresh and cheerful look with this green. Happy I purchased this color. As for quality, I like their carpets. They are thick and vacuum easily. There is enough texture in the color that dirt would not show up easily.
