O-Shape Cervical Traction Device

I'm a licensed massage therapist and I'm always looking for new products that can help me and my clients through pain and tension.Recently I've been having a hard time sleeping on my back, I just can't breathe well so I end up turning on my side. I've also been experiencing jaw (tmj) tension and my neck often needs to be cracked multiple times a day for years now.Only after one use, it has released tremendous tension from my jaw and my neck. I can also breathe better!I'm really dialed into this sort of thing from all of the massage work I've done, I'm very familiar with how the body works and how to heal tension. With these two combined products I can already tell how much better my sleep will be and how much my body will improve through proper support.

I agree with the 10 minute limit, start at 3-5 minutes and a few times a day. I had a stiff neck frequently, probably because I sit at a pair of monitors all day , and probably not great posture.I use this morning before work, mid day break on the floor and again after work or bedtime. Relaxes my neck and shoulders.Mostly I just let my neck stretch, but also some gentle left / right head turns, but not far, not a stretch. More of a gentle rocking

I have suffered from cervicogenic headaches for years. This basically means secondary headaches caused by misalignment in the neck as well as super tight knots in the shoulders. It’s a vicious circle. These headaches very much mimic migraines for me. I have always felt each time that if I could alleviate the knots or crack my neck, all the pain would go away.Unfortunately, weekly visits to the chiropractor and masseuse are too expensive for my budget. I even tried a nerve block at one point as well as numerous home massagers. These all have helped, but I have still been suffering with the tightness daily as well as at least 6 headaches a month.I started using this pillow for about 5-10 mins both in the morning and at night for about 2 weeks now and I have never felt better! I start with my arms down at my side and then bring them above my head to touch while laying on the floor. I can literally feel the throbbing of blood flow through my neck—and in a good way! I have not felt tightness in my neck, have had minimal knots in my shoulders and zero headaches since about the second day of use. Worth every penny!

I had to fold a hand towel & put it over the hard plastic. It provides relief but it should have cushioning on it. Can't get pain relief on a hard surface.

I have been using this for about a month or so, 3-5x per week. It's the first time I've used any of these so I have nothing to compare it to. Some reviewers complained that it's too hard. My take is that it has to be firm to hold your neck and top of shoulders and correct bad neck/head posture without losing form. Personally, I don't find it that hard. The first times you use it, you may feel a cooling or warming sensation at your nape/back of your skull. Start with the longer side towards your shoulders and when you get up, roll to the side rather than sitting up. I'd caution against falling sleep with it. This is to be used for 10 minutes/day only. I will continue to use and provide an update.

Probably my worst Amazon purchase ever. I should have heeded the negative reviews, because they were absolutely correct. This hunk of junk was the most worthless thing. It is a solid (very smelly) piece of plastic, with absolutely NO give. I have regularly seen a chiropractor, and have had plenty of physical therapy, so I know what works and what doesn't. Had really hoped that this would help between visits. NOPE. It has absolutely NO give, and was like trying to use a small boulder to relieve pain. It hurt me so bad within about two minutes that I literally thought that I would pass out. If my carotid artery had been that far back, it would have cut off all blood flow to my brain, and I'd be dead. As it was, It hurt terribly, and NOT a 'good' hurt, where you know that it will help you. Just miserable pain. Five days later, and my neck is still killing me from trying it, i have a terrible headache (which I almost never get), and now unfortunately, my chiropractor temporarily closed due to the pandemic. Trust me on this that it did more harm than good for me. In my opinion, a product like this shouldn't be allowed on the market, period. I'm sure the Seller is lovely, but this product sure isn't.

I was having an issue with my neck and sometimes had bad pain so that I had to curtail my activities. After using this for a few days I had amazing relief. t's worth every penny.

I got this traction device and another c shaped one that comes with a magnetic pillow casing. I tried the other one first and fell in love. And I got this one to get a comparison because the other one is smaller and doesn't extend through your neck. This o shaped device is longer than the similar products and cradles your neck and is noticably softer than the other. It gives a gentler traction. It is much more comfortable but not sure if it is as effective as the other. I think it all depends on personal taste. I am keeping both so I can use whichever depending on what mood I'm in. The only thing I didn't like is that it looks so cheep and the foam was covered in tiny little imperfections. Don't know if it is worth the price. I would have been much satisfied if I paid under $20.
