Bamboo Xuan paper of Meiyutang enjoys a high reputation of millennial longevity, won the praises for the exquisite craft as far as Yuan Dynasty. It features in perfect ink absorption that holds ink tightly without infiltrating easily. The young bamboo culms are used as raw material through 72 delicacy steps, steamed and boiled via alkali reactivity and bleached by irradiation of sunshine. Such traditional craft applied keep the paper white without changing into yellow, and produce vivid successive layer. Review: Overcharged - It took 24 days I received the delivery. In good packaging and condition. It was not left at my front door but in my mailbox and buried with my regular mails because it is just so small in entire size. After I opened it, I realized it is 12x20 cm or 4.75”x8”, and the 100 sheets are less than 1/4” thick. With such a small size, I can’t use it for serious large projects but for tiny playful or practicing purpose. Then I think I can easily find alternatives in much lower cost and better quality. I don’t feel it’s worth the cost to have it. I paid over $16 plus my prime membership.
