Incredibly Good Sound!
What a difference this made in our home theater setup! We'd tried center channel speaker models from Sony and AR, but never were we satisfied with vocals until we tried this. After getting it set up and balancing the sound to each speaker properly, for the first time ever we had excellent, clear and full-bodied vocals, as well as a nice little central bass boost we weren't expecting at all. What a difference -- we can actually understand what actors are saying now, and it didn't break the bank to make it happen. Fantastic addition to our home theater enjoyment! We upgraded our main speakers recently with a pair of absolutely exceptional KLH Kendall floorstanding speakers (replacing our more than four decades old Bose 601's), and these and our new Polk center channel speaker gave our home theater system a new and absolutely stunning sound! However, for me, the new KLH speakers proved to be so much better than any other speaker system we'd owned before that now, when listening to music, I usually set the receiver output to the two-channel, stereo-only setting. All the home theater and fancy music settings are lots of fun played through all our speakers (we have Bose 301 series IV's handling the side and rear channels, and there's a rear center channel we haven't yet used), but now, if I'm in the mood for music, I far and away prefer the un-colored, natural and original sound of two-channel stereo. There is nothing wrong with the Polk T30 for music; in fact, it sounds great, and in my opinion, two would sound quite good as the main speakers in a beginner or small room setup -- it's just that our new KLH Kendalls are so clear, clean and musical that anything of even slightly less ability is a distraction. On the other hand, when we put the T30 to the use for which it was designed -- handling the center channel output of our home theater setup -- it's added a whole new level of enjoyment to films and television. For rich, full, clear vocals and all other aspects of center channel sound reproduction in a home theater setup, this very reasonably priced speaker from Polk is hard to beat, particularly if you're lucky enough to get it with a hefty Prime Day discount (as we did). :-) The improvement in the overall sound quality of our system achieved just by adding this basic, almost budget priced center speaker really took us by surprise -- we love it! Recommended.

Polk Audio for the win
Let me start by saying this T30 Polk Audio center channel speaker is by far one of the best center channel speakers I have bought in a long time! I already have other Polk Audio speakers and subwoofers in my arsenal of Dolby Atmos surround I was just lacking their center channel speaker. I did have an Infinity which was very expensive and bought back in early 2000. My Infinity served its purpose and has definitely paid for itself but when I upgraded my amplifier to a Denon 8K Dolby Atmos I was surprisingly astonished at the sound quality that I instantly fell in love and it made this center channel speaker come alive in ways I never heard a center channel speaker. Music played on the center channel speaker and vocals in movies are so crisp and clear and the fact that it is a good quality brand and matches my other speakers is definitely a plus. I took advantage of the payment plan with prime Day and got a very good deal on this and was able to make after the down payment two more payments for November and for December which actually helps the budget. Amazon has in ways stepped up their game allowing people to make payments on certain products so they can put a down payment plus tax and then make payments over time. Man I cannot say enough about the center channel speaker though. It arrived very quickly actually ahead of time and when I hooked it up I was instantly blown away and this is before I did any adjustments on the amplifier for the center channel. Definitely well worth the price and the quality is outstanding! I would definitely definitely recommend.

Lile stage 2 upgrade. Low grade receiver can still make good noise
Went from a mica base set up to polk center and it's definitely noticeable. But in my trailer I think I maxed out what is useful on 75w/channel

Good choice for home theater above entry level
I've been in the process of replacing my home theater piece-wise. I previously had a matched set of JBL home theater speakers that were getting old and replaced them. They're decent for rears but were lacking as fronts or center. The last piece I needed to replace was the center, and I chose this Polk speaker. I was concerned at first because I chose Klipsch as my main fronts. The sound difference from the JBL to the Klipsch was outrageous. The Klipsch were just so much better. They made the JBL center seem completely inadequate. I often found us turning up volume to get a decent output from the old center. After a little research, I chose the Polk center since it was fairly close in specs to the Klipsch speakers as far as frequency response. II knew that a Klipsch center would almost certainly have a brighter sound, but I couldn't justify the price difference between the Polk and Klipsch centers. I set up the center last night and ran the receiver's autocalibration. I used a few movies that I know have good sound mixes: Monster U (the dance party scene), Sound of Music (Do Ra Mi meadow scene), Tron (End of Line Club fight scene), and Hunt for Red October (final sub battle scene). The sound stage was much more cohesive. When the mix moved something through the front from side to side, it held together. Dialogue did not get shoved down even when there was other action. Sound was anchored to the screen much better. My only critique is that there is a very slight noticeable difference in the brightness of sound when fully in center. I knew that going it though so I'm not surprised. I only wish my receiver had a channel-specific EQ because I know I could balance that out if it did. (Incidentally if you have a good audio system and the Blu-Ray release of Sound of Music, listen for the off-screen crew member catching the ball that Friedrich throws to the side as they start to sing.) Is this center channel perfect? No. Is it an outstanding value to get you a capable center channel that is a solid performer? Sure is.

Very clear audio (you can understand what is said).
I just upgraded my old Bose AM5 cubes and two Bose 101 with a Bose VCs 10 center speaker (5.1 system) to a 7.1 system (5.1.2) by adding two Polk Audio book shelf speakers. The Bose center speaker did not play well with the new Polk Audio speakers. My wife kept turning up the volume because she couldn't understand what was being said. I new that the problem was the Bose center speaker. I replaced the Bose VC 10 with a Polk Audio TS30 center speaker. It is a subtle difference that I can hear. I asked my wife if she could hear the difference. She said "not really". After we used the Polk Audio speaker all evening I asked her again. She still did not know what the difference was. Then I asked her how many times she had to raise the volume. Eureka! She realized that she did not have to raise the volume at all! She could understand everything that was said all night. The Bose speaker was missing some frequencies and over emphasized others. The Polk Audio restored the missing frequencies and did not over emphasize other frequencies.

Impressive
The Polk Audio center speaker completely transformed my home theater setup. Dialogue is crystal clear, even at lower volumes. Voices sound natural and detailed, while effects and background audio have incredible presence without ever overpowering.

Excellent Product
Using Polk Audio T15 speaker for Front R and L channels with Onkyo AV receiver paired with Polk Audio T30 for Center channel. Work very well. Sound quality is crisp and pure with woody feel. I am satisfied with clarity of high frequency sounds from in bullt tweeters and the bass is reasonably good too. I added a sub woofer, making the system sound just perfect. Overall great product. Look nice too.

Rapport qualité-prix imbattable

Bocina Central Polk Audio

Compact with excellent vocal and overall clarity. Great bass too,
I bought this to replace an older Definitive Audio centre channel because no matter how I tried to tweak the receiver and other DA speakers, speech still sounded murky. Our older hearing didn’t help either as we have been watching more Netflix, Prime Video etc due to Covid-19. So I figured the best option without spending up on a whole new sound system was to replace the centre speaker. The T30 was had great reviews everywhere and was the cheapest of the 3 options on my shortlist without breaking the bank. Ironically/stupidly it was cheaper to import it via my Prime account (free postage) from the UK than to buy it in Australia. Also the slightly smaller height (1-2cm) to fit the space I had was an important factor for me. For $250 it has proved to be everything I expected and I couldn’t be happier at this brilliant upgrade for minimal outlay. Dialogue is much clearer with better sound overall and extra bass at lower volumes as a bonus!
