Could i replace my front left and right tannoy sfx5.1 satellites with these speakers in 5.1.2 atmos config....?

Yes. But the amp must support Dolby atmos in the upfiring position.

Do you have to use bannana plugs with these or can you use just wires?

I bought banana plugs but didn't use them because you have to take a plastic plug out. it's easier to use the spring loaded connection on them and stripped wire. You won't regret getting these speakers.

What size mounting bolt fit the threaded hole on back? The mounting bolt on my universal stands is too small

Why not try reading the spec - 'Universal 1/4"X20 threaded insert mounts'.

Do these take normal banana plugs?

Hello, Thank you for your question. Yes, you can use normal banana plugs.
