How about making a smaller version for 6 and 4 inch rollers?

What is the difference between the red and blue versions?

Do you have to clean the roller before putting it in the tube?

You do not need to i never do but i will just give friendly tip even though obvious. Make sure you clean it with mineral spirits before using wet rollers of different color or type paint. It will absorb it and mix if its able to

How easy is it to clean the inside when done?

It should be easy to clean wet paint out of here, it should rinse out easily. I don’t know for sure since ours are always in use.
