Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50mm F1 Compact Long Range Precision Riflescope

I like the dark earth finish. Scope is lightweight, mounts easily and has great glass.

PROS: 1. There is ample vertical adjustment 2. The turrets work very well, with crisp clicks for adjustments 3. The glass is very clear 4. The reticle is well designed, and illuminates well 5. The parallax turret also adjusts easily 6. Comes with flip-up caps to protect the lenses. 7. It is the perfect magnification range for most standard AR-15 / PRS ranges from 0 to 1,000 yards. 8. The weight is pretty decent for its purpose, which is great. 9. The price point is about right for its quality level. CONS: 1. The parallax turret would be improved if it had distance markers on it 2. The reticle illumination button isn't as ideal as a turn knob for the brightness setting. Clicking repeatedly to have it cycle brighter and darker takes longer and isn't as easy to make an adjustment if you go by the ideal brightness setting. 3. The optical locking ring doesn't click into place when it locks, it's just a cinch-down, and sometimes comes loose. It would be better if it clicked into place when it was locked. 4. The magnification throw lever would work better if it were slightly longer, even if by just a half-centimeter. It'd actually mark it 4.5 stars out of 5, but there's no option for half-stars. It's very good quality, rugged, and priced well for what it provides, and I would definitely buy it again.

Pretty good, clear glass. I struggle with loving the etched reticle on first plane, you basically just get the upper zoom range as a result.

When ordering in the style section it states that it is moa... when receiving the scope it is the mil version. Pretty sad that they can't get the description right on this expensive of a scope.
