on the counter it is a plus, but I don't use as much as I thought I might. I find the numbers hard to read and reach over and over again under the cabinet for the old pyrex measuring cups. Maybe this old dog just needs to learn new tricks.

She obviously uses it as a measuring cup but when not baking she uses it as a vase for flowers to brighten up the kitchen. Very handsome.

Unfortunately, this just doesn't work as a pitcher -- it dribbles and spills all over when you try to pour from it. Note that this is made of stoneware, not plastic as it might appear in the picture. Inside has white printed markings in both cups and ml, plus a clever set of additional markings on an angle that let you see how much is left in the pitcher as you're pouring. Unlike a previous reviewer, the one I received seemed reasonably accurate. But if it can't pour without spilling, it's of no use as a measuring pitcher. Back to Amazon it goes.

I bought this item to replace one that broke, I loved the first and the quallity was nice, but in the second one the color is uneven as is the base, I expected better quality.

Lovely pouring/measuring jug from Nigella. No less than the great product I expected, as always, from Nigella. Gorgeous colour, perfect size. It gets plenty of use in my kitchen.

I got this about two years ago and I just really appreciate it. It's big and I use it for everything: measuring, watering plants, watering my dog, as a vase for fresh herbs or flowers, and to corral utensils if I need. The color is pretty and the texture of the finish is soft. I have no problems with this product.
