Klein Tools 9216 Tape Measure, Heavy-Duty Measuring Tape with 16-Foot Double-Hook Double-Sided Nylon Reinforced Blade, with Metal Belt Clip

The perfect tape, as an electrician u usually don’t need much more than 10’. You won’t find 1/32” marks, honestly don’t know why they bother with 1/16”. One thing you do need to be careful of is the hook dose not sit flat against the body. So it ends up getting bent in making your measurements a good 1/4” long! Numbers on back are good to have. I’d have to laugh if I saw someone using the bend guide. It’s nice and stiff if u hold it right u can stick it way out there. One thing is the curve can be a pain if your marking out away form yourself as it doesn’t lay flat… that’s why it sticks out so good. But the curve is nice when lining up a laser from across a room as u can just see the marks. Best feature is the magnet! Never fear dropping screws or even your linemens! This is not a tape but an elevator for the things you drop off a 12’er :)

Gotta love them very durable. The size makes some of the cramped spaces I work in much easier. I will continue to buy.

Tough tape measure for tough job

My colleagues laugh at me, because they have the 25ft version. Well, I own a Milwaukee 40ft version (too heavy). I have been able to install everything so far no problemo with this 16ft version and have even let others use it when they didn't have theirs around (sacrilege). The reference for multipliers and shrinkage on the backside of the tape is a great help also, even though you'll use 30 deg and 10 deg bends 90% of the time. The metal tab has bent several times getting caught on metal studs and the like, and I've had to bend it in place. But I don't know it any other brands' metal tabs could fair any better.

I'm an electrician by trade and have been in the construction industry for 14 years so needless to say, I've used a ton of tape measures. As a tool I use on a daily basis my tape measure is very important. After using Stanley, Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Kobalt tape measures early in my career I finally settled on Milwaukee and considered it the best out there... until I bought this Klein. I used Milwaukee tape measures for years but recently decided to try this Klein since it was a.new product. Electricians trust Klein for all other hand tools and I have to say I was not disappointed by their new line of tape measures. This is the BEST tape measure out there, YES even better than Milwaukee. Easy to read numbers, fast recoil, and rigid tape for extending over long distance. I even love the shape of the hook on the end and extra string magnet.I'm dead serious that Klein's new tape measures beat Milwaukee, Fat Max, and everything else I've used. This tape just feels great. I like the extra large magnetic tip a lot for measuring between can lights and conduits. The up facing tip grabs better than most. I realized I was way out of place on my ladder once but tried to reach with it anyway and it stretched out well over 13ft without collapsing. This is the one I'll keep buying once I inevitably lose it.

Disappointed overall. It's very expensive compared to the others brand and it's not worthy. The tape after 96inches open it does a arch like a round circle(half a moon) it almost tough to measure and mark with the pencil on the wood. The retraction speed brake once you press it, the tape doesn't open smooth after, you need to use the front brake and release the brake again and only after start to work again. Overall definitely not worth the money. Very disappointed to spend $45 on this tape. Not buying again.

Je l'ai utilisé pour moi même. La protection sur le ruban se détériore après env 1 semaine beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité

Menuisier de finition, il a duré 4 jours,pire ruban a mesurer pour la durabilité, a retirer du marcher ,surtout au prix qu'ils le vendent. Très déçu de leur ruban et niveau laser extra lourd.
