I tried Palo Santo after I heard it is a sacred wood, with a pleasing odor, useful for freshening the air, and eliminating odors. It is a bit pricey, but I tried it anyway, and found it to be too overwhelming, in terms of the smoke factor. If you try it, it is suggested you open windows after "smudging," your living space.Smoke in any form, as far as I know, should not be inhaled, and that would include fragrant wood, and other burning incense sticks, cigarettes, etc. I know better but wanted to try it anyway. Afterwards, I have decided to use a liquid spray that has extract of the wood, or other spray products the freshen the air without smoke.For those with COPD, asthma, and other lung, and breathing problems, burning wood, excessive spraying of air fresheners, and incense would not be the way to go. Fresh air, as much as we can clear the air in our dwellings might be the best way to go in most instances.

This is hands down the best Palo Santo I've found! For quality and value\price.These light up easily, have a wonderfully pleasant aroma and are very long lasting. My last stick lasted at least a month, and that's with cleansing several times a week.I highly recommend this seller and will be purchasing more as I have started including these in the cleansing and protection kits I sell in my shop. I have searched for ethically and sustainability sources Palo, and actually feel like this seller is holding up their promise.

I love the smell of it and it got rid of bad energy

I didn’t realize these were so hard to keep lit but I love the scent when they’re freshly lit. They can smell a little resin-y/gassy after burning but I get the same “after smell” from sage so as long as you have great ventilation, it’s fine.

I bought these to have extras, and my family agrees with me that these are the real thing without any chemicals added. Good price for a decent amount of sticks.
