LOOKS FANTASTIC!!!
Looks great! Spins and turns to catch the wind. The instructions are pretty worthless, because it's basically just diagrams. But if you layout all the parts and look at the picture on Amazon, it's not hard to figure out. Each of the 4 legs are made out of three pieces. You can quickly identify the bottom piece because it has a BIG hole in it that you use to stake it to the ground. The top piece has ONE small hole. The piece in the middle is the one left over. After you assemble the 4 legs, attach them to the piece that looks like a bell USING THE 4 SMALL WASHERS. The legs mount to the OUTSIDE of the bell-shaped piece. Next, the big square shaped piece goes over top and attaches to the four legs. When attaching, you MUST ALSO attached the long thin metal cross pieces. Next, attach the bottom of those long cross pieces together with the short horizontal pieces AND the lower long cross pieces to the 4 main legs (that means you're attaching three items to the main pole with each screw). Repeat with the bottom section. Screw the rudder piece to the remaining two arm pieces. Attach to the bell shaped top piece and put a pin (provided) under the bell to keep it from coming off. There are 2 LARGE WASHERS that go on each side of the propeller. Use the second pin (provided) to keep the propeller from coming off. It took this 55 year old woman an hour to assemble with a phillips screwdriver. EASY PEASY!

Looks Good, Duriable, Easy Setup
The instructions are useless, just be sure to lay everything out first before assembling, start with the legs first then work your way up to the windmill blade. It took me about 40 minutes to assemble. Good quality, looks good once its put together.

Nice edition to garden
Itโs a great buy BUT!!! It is only $70. Make sure you get longer in ground stakes. High winds will tip it over! And we had to use a liquid screw/bolt lock as it can vibrate with high winds and lose the screws. With these adjustments itโs now working great!!!

Engineering degree not needed but it helps
Worst instructions ever! It said it takes 2 people 90 minutes to put it together they lied! You will have to take it apart 2 or 3 times, but by the time your done you will be a master at it. All in all it is a good windmill for the price and looks great. I would recommend it just dont ask me to help you put it together.

Attractive, works well, good price.
This was a gift for friends of mine who had admired a similar one at a chain store. I read reviews carefully before purchasing so took the information gained gratefully. Assembly was easy- just a lot of screwdriver work. I bought lock washers at the hardware store before assembling and threw out the stakes that came with product as there were quite a view complaints about them being insufficient. The heavier, longer stakes I bought locally were well worth it to keep the windmill secure. The red color is bright and cheerful in their back yard and it turns easily with the wind. They love it so Iโm very pleased. Itโs been up since Christmas and shows no signs yet of rust or wear. I certainly donโt expect it to last forever but it seems good value for the money.

Be aware if you buy this windmill
This was an inexpensive windmill. With that said, the instructions are terrible. You need a vivid imagination. I love putting things together, so wasn't afraid of it. I did get this together. It required 7 extra washers to secure the spinner. I read that the spinner fails in weeks, and I'm guessing they didn't stabilize the spinner. Advise: use gloves and a high quality dust mask to protect yourself from the lead paint that comes off as you assemble. Breathing it in is most dangerous. You will need to buy 2 or 3 cans of spray paint when your done. So get the cheapest windmill regardless of color, because you will have to repaint it when your done. I got the red and most of the paint came off in packaging, and more came off when handling. If I got the blue, it would have been $9 cheaper. $21 dollars for paint. $7 for washers. It won't last long. It's very thin. But, it's affordable, so weigh them together. You will have to pay to return this. So if you don't want it, you will wind up paying more for shipping, then the item cost. If you get this don't assemble in home, and near children, because of the lead paint. All painted items from China contain high levels of lead... our kids are grown, and I use precautions. The next day I looked at it and saw rust beginning to form. The material is very cheap and will not last long. * It's hard to make a profit these days, I get it. The company did refund me $25 to cover paint and the washers needed for repair. So, I give them credit for that.

Love this windmill
Like this windmill. Seems well made. It is somewhat difficult to put together and it will require two people, which the instructions state. The instructions are poorly printed but the assembly is pretty straightforward if you pay attention to the pieces and read the instructions. One or two more illustrations would have helped along with a more sharply set of instructions. I did have a part missing. Contacted the maker and they took care of the problem promptly. Grateful for that. I recommend this item.

Well made and easy to put together
This red windmill was under $50! Not sure why it was priced lower than the other colours but I absolutely love it. Looks great in the back yard.
