Tommy Hilfiger Men's Wool Melton Walking Coat with Detachable Scarf

OK. There have been lots of reviews on this coat and I am one who likes details so here are a few. I am 5'10 and weigh 163 lbs and I ordered a medium. I have an athletic upper body with bigger chest and shoulders and a smaller waist (size 32 waist). MOST men's shirts/jackets/coats fit too big in the waist area. This coat was no exception. Shoulders and arm holes (under your arm pits) are a little snug but the body itself was too big for my liking. The sleeve length was also too long. I wear a 33 sleeve in dress shirt and this was more like a 34-35. The coat itself was very sharp and my wife loved the style on me. It just made me look a little frumpy! It's a classic style jacket that you'll be able to wear for years and it's actually quite warm. I live in Chicago area and we have had bitter cold recently (5-15 degrees) and it has kept me warm. To make it fit just right, I did spend the extra money and took it to my tailor. Had them shorten the sleeves and take in the sides. LOVE the fit and look now.

My husband had an older version of this coat for years, we believe he wore it for like 8-10 years, and it lasted great, with him wearing a backpack and walking to and from the train station and work every day in the winter months. It held up great after all that wear and tear, and didn't form any kinds of rips or holes until just recently (under one arm pit). That combined with the fact that the coat is very warm and looks really good on him is why we searched for one just like it....and this one was a match. Considering how much use he got out of it, and the condition it was in when we finally had to replace it, it was a great price.

This coat is amazing. So nice. Glad I pulled the trigger. Ordered an XL for myself. I am 5’9 and 194lbs. Fit perfect except the length of sleeves. Knew that was going to be an adjustment I would have to have done. The coat feels great and looks great. Scarf was ok but needs something else to complete the look. All In don’t hesitate if interested. It’s a winner, trust me I am a coat guy for sure. O, interior lining is quilted and just fine. You will love this coat.

I ordered a large and the coat fit almost perfectly even with layers underneath like a sweatshirt or sweater. I am 5'10" and weigh about 160# and the coat was perfect in the shoulders and not too baggy elsewhere. The sleeves are about an inch too long but the coat is so nice, I have no problem taking it to a tailor to have them shortened up a bit.

I love this jacket. It is nice enough to be semi dressy and casual enough to wear out doing normal daily stuff. It is also warm and comfortable.

Delivery was fast, the coat looks very nice, but it was obviously taken off a rack and thrown in an open bag. It was not folded in any way, just bunched up in an open plastic bag, still on a hanger. It's a gift, so I don't know how it fits yet.

I bought this Jacket on Sale for 50$ (Yes Fifty Dollars CDN). My suit size is 38S and my shirt size is 15.5 33/34 and I bought size S. It fits very well. Along with this I ordered Calvin Klein car coat as well. I liked this Jacket over the Calvin Klein because this one was well made and the one i received was made in Indonesia versus Calvin Klein which was made in China. The quality of this one was way better than the Calvin Klein in all means. With regards to warmth rating - I would say it fine up to -5 to -8 Degrees Celsius incl windchill. This is because of the fact that this one has traditional buttons which may allow more cool air to come in if the weather is windy. Having said that it is very comfortable to wear for longer duration without any trouble and it is very classy too.

Im 6'1 and 150lbs and do not typically shop online for clothing or anything but I purchased this coat for a more casual and elegant look. As I was looking with the size chart and the pricing for different sizes, I found the large was $47 (that's no mistake $47) and the medium was $226, so I took a chance and got the large.Well today I received it in the mail and the large is noticebly very large, the sleeves are about an inch too long and I would need about an extra 40lbs for this to be filled in properly. I really did love this coat when i took it out of the box it was packaged neatly folded up inside a plastic cover and even hung on a hanger. Its about as heavy as I was expecting and the charcoal grey really is a nice tone but the collar touching my neck was itchy but i was only wearing a t-sirt when I tried it on. The original tags are still on the coat including the original price tag of $265. Me being a college student,Unfortunetly for me,I can't afford to downsize to the medium for an extra $180, and will have to return the large.

Great quality, stylish and warm. In overall, it is a good purchase, no regrets. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because even though it is so stylish, it doesn't have the 3 or 4 buttons these coats usually have on the side of the sleeves and takes away a bit the style, but it is a small detail I guess.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for myself and I love it. I like Tommy Hilfiger clothing line in general but it fits great( I'm 6ft 3inch) and can be casual or business which is exactly what I wanted. Nice and warm and feels very well made. Included scarf is a nice touch.

Tommy's Tommy and this coat is no Different, excellent colour and fits like a glove..Excellent casual everyday look and feels great on.. Warm as heck..
