Royal & Langnickel Essentials Clear View Oil Painting Set, Large

I like this product, cause I been trying to find tools to start back drawing again

A pretty decent beginner product. The brushes are made out of real animal hair. I don't like that idea since they probably killed the animal in order to get its hair. Comes with a nice size book of paper. Also the linseed oil was a nice touch. That way beginners can get a feel for using mediums in there painting. The case is my least favorite part, I don't like the plastic. It doesn't have hinges so eventually it will break in half. Also as soon as I opened it up the handle fell off. As long as the price stays under $15 I would say it's a good buy. I believe I only paid $11 so I was happy with it.

I am experimenting with watercolors and needed something not too expensive to start out with. This little set filled the bill. It gave me lots of nice colors to start with and some nice brushes as well.I have found that the carrying case can be a bit cantankerous at times.The tubes of paint are small, but the paint has nice bright color and seemed okay on my less expensive paper.I would recommend this to those wanting to try out watercolor without spending a small fortune.

I have another set from Royal and Langnickel and I bought this one to take with me to art classes. My only thing with it is the case. You have to put the clear plastic sleeve in it to keep the sticks from falling out of place. I had gotten this set because I wanted a case that I could close up and take with me. The set is a good one for sketching and drawing and for someone who is taking art classes and needs a full set of pencils to work with.

Bought for my daughter who is currently into sketching.This was a great set to get her started. It was convenient for me, as this set contained everything she had on her art wish list.Everything seemed to be of good quality. It was packaged well, and nothing was broken. She now uses the case that everything came in, to hold some of her finished work.

Bristles fall off quick. I like the paint and pencil.

Not bad as a starter kit for someone who has never used oils before. I docked a star because the box was shattered so the handle isn't usable. I would recommend buying some paint thinner and a conditioning brush cleaner like Pink Soap too.
