So good, that I didnt need to add sweetener!
This is so wonderful, rich and smooth that I didn't even need to add my usual sweetener at all. I love it and knowing its been product tested as chemical free and mold free, lab results public, I feel safe using it.

Smells good, tastes great, low acid and organic=yummy coffee
Really good coffee. You can smell the freshness right out of the bag. I grind one spoon (coarse) in a burr grinder, boil water, let it cool off for 30 seconds, then 4 minutes in French press. I don't add sugar/milk/creamer. I grind up a medium pinch of cinnamon stick and add one clove. This transpires into yummy really low acid coffee. Being organic is a huge plus. Good for the environment and good for my rather delicate stomach. It's not too strong, which is how I like it. I usually drink Trader Joe's coffee but due to social distancing, skipped the store and decided to take a chance. Glad i did!!!

A Good Mild Flavor With Strong Nutty Notes
This coffee has done an exquisite job of marketing. Fair trade, organic, ethical in every sense of the word. And whole bean at that so you’re bound to expect the best flavor- right? This particular flavor ‘Mind, Body, and Soul’ is one that my fiance and I enjoy but don’t necessarily swoon over. It’s a medium blend that isn’t necessarily extremely robust. Both of us prefer a darker stout flavor, but love trying new coffees (especially organic fair trade options), so picked this one up on a whim during an Amazon Pantry order. The coffee comes well-packaged in a traditional foil-lined bag that seals in freshness. It’s easy to peel open and can nicely be folded shut and secured with clamps that are a part of the package. Great for convenience and storage. The whole beans are nicely roasted and ready to be ground. This particular 12 ounce bag lasted the two of us about 9 days- but we are avid (almost alarmingly so) coffee drinkers. For a typical household I’d assume this bag would easily last 2 to 3 weeks. We tried this coffee with a drip coffee maker, French press, and electric coffee maker. It wasn’t quite dark enough to work with the drip coffee maker and the flavor was very mild and watery when paired with that method. The French press got the best flavor from this coffee and really allowed you to taste the mild nutty flavor. It almost has an almondy undertone. It’s not a sweet coffee and it certainly lacks a ‘punch’ that I appreciate. But it wasn’t bad and I’d highly recommend it for people who want something gentle but flavorful to wake up with. I think I would try other coffees from this brand and would probably really like their darker flavors. For people who really want a lot of kick to their coffee I wouldn’t suggest this particular one though. Great things about this particular brand include the fact they are fair trade and organic. They source their coffee beans from small locally owned farmers who practice natural farming. Although my coffee connoisseur attitude does inspire me to occasionally indulge in a new Starbucks option, I always feel much better when I’m conscious about what I buy and opt for brands that seem more aware of their farmers practices and wellbeing. Fair Trade is a great option for the ‘ethically aware’ coffee shoppers out there. I really have no major complaints about this coffee, just the particular flavor didn’t suit my fancy. Because it was advertised as having a chocolate undertone I figured it may be a more robust flavor for a medium blend- but that wasn’t really the case. The nutty malt flavor is much more noticeable. But, if that suits your fancy, this option is certainly the right one for you.

Price hike of $2.09 in 2 days
Coffee taste great. I like that it’s organic and fair trade This Coffee jumped in Price $2.09 in two days!! I’m personally sick of seeing unnecessary inflation that we saw since 2020. We could tell when it wasn’t necessary, ie I live in a tourist town in Tahoe when prices went to a premium for a latte at $8 dollars in a paper cup ($4 increase) but other coffee shops only went up $.25-$.50…. Then we knew that they were full of BS when they their suppliers charged more. The Federal Reserve did a study on washing machines in 2021 and found that there were US brands that did price hikes not because they were affected, but because they could because imported ones had to go up to cover cost. It’s the difference between you did it because you could not because it was morally right thing to do. In this case, we don’t know why they went up $2.09 in two days.

Good flavor, and even makes a good second brew
This is good coffee. It does have a slightly chocolatey flavor and smell. Also, after I use the grounds once, I can reuse them for a second cup, and it makes a really good decaf coffee (because the caffeine came out in the first cup). I usually air dry it on a plate and store it in a jar in the fridge until I want it. That makes it a really good value. (Disclaimer: I am not a coffee aficionado.)

Good, quality coffee!
I am a huge fan of the Equal Exchange Organic Coffee brand. The "Mind, Body & Soul" is a blend of organic medium and Vienna roasted coffees that provide a very balanced and tasty blend of coffee. When ordered from Amazon, I have always received the beans fresh from this company. The subscribe and save feature allows you to save even more money on this coffee (I hope Amazon keeps this as a subscribe and save product. Overall, this is a fantastic organic coffee that is near the top of my daily coffee rotation.

Wow! This is really wonderful coffee. I had never ground my own beans and I thought I'd give a 'fresher' cup of coffee a try after I found an old grinder and discovered that it actually functioned. Why not give it a try? So I wandered through Amazon looking for some high-star whole bean coffee that wasn't exorbitantly expensive. Organic was a bonus. Ordered this, received it quickly, and made my first batch just this morning. Wow! Maybe it's the grind-your-own-bean freshness but this was the best cup of coffee I've ever tasted - better than my Nespresso at work (my standard measurement). It had a nice brightness with no acid afterburn. This is my new go-to coffee.
