Black Bamboo Headwear

Fits my head great. I bought this because I've always liked how they look. I wanted something to wear when my hair just didn't look right, but i don't want to wash it again. I knew the pattern for the scarf was updated, but I would have preferred the old pattern. It is warm on my head, but I don't usually wear caps of any kind. My hair is bob-length, so just past my ears. Having hair at this length made it kind of difficult to make no hair show, but that is not the fault of the cap. The scarf attachment is very cute, I love how you can style it in different ways. I haven't washed it yet, but it seems good quality. I think instructions say to handwash, but I imagine it can go in the wash on a delicate or hand-wash cycle. I would let air dry. Overall for $12.99 (I think?), it is worth the money. I didn't see any loose threads or holes, and it feels nice on my head. It is snug, so it won't fall off, but not tight. I may come back in the future to buy different colors. Yes, I could have included "chemo headwear" in title, but this item could be for anyone that wants to cover their head completely with comfort and style. In my case I wanted something for my new chemo, hairless head. I've tried a few different items, but this seems the best for what I would like for now. The cap covers my whole scalp, but is light weight so it doesn't feel too warm. I have a normal size head and there's room to spare with how the crown is configured. It stays put but not too tight. The beauty of this style cap is that there's two bands that are sewn on, but open for not only the obvious scarf it comes with, but can be interchanged with most any scarf for variety. I ordered the "coffee" color, seemed most neutral for me. I ordered a package of four colorful, beautiful Bo2-cashew Vabovin scarfs to interchange. I purchased them here on Amazon. Look at the Vabovin store. The package of four were a steal at $15.99. I hope this will be helpful. If you're going through chemo and want to feel pretty even with the shock of losing your hair and all that we experience, this might be an easy solution .

Would have given 5 stars but was sent a different scarf than pictured which was the sole reason for purchase. The leopard print scarf they sent with it actually has more of a creamy tan base and the hat is a light heather gray. (Pic doesn’t show true color difference). I kept the hat and had a scarf on hand that I paired with it. I do like the hat having loops to hold the scarves instead of them being attached. This makes it easy to change them out to create different looks (see pic). The hat’s seam is also coming loose after a couple of wears but could be an easy fix. The fabric is very soft and as far as the style, I feel it would look great on anyone. For size reference, my circumference is 21 and it is a tad loose but tying the scarf fixes that. I have received lots of compliments on how cute it looks so I’ve ordered the black and the navy hats too. I hope to get the scarves pictured!

Happy with this purchase. This cap is very comfortable, soft and breathable. I would describe it more as a spring/ summer fit. It's on the thinner side however if you are one to perspire or get cold with with little or no hair, then you'll like this. It washes well and holds it's form. Some stretch to it. Scarf designs and colors are interchangeable bw caps.

I have decided my *look* during chemo hair loss is going to be a cap with a scarf. I tried this brand after finding out my head is pretty large (24" around the hairline) and some caps just don't fit. These run a little larger and fit very nicely without any pressure on my tender scalp. I like that I can change out the scarves for others that I already own, and I will be able to bring some style to a difficult time. Really pretty on!

Beautiful materials and nice cover for head

Completely false advertising. The product showed a light blue-grey cap, but sent a very different broken gray color nowhere close to gray. The scarf, which in the picture is a beautiful multicolored floral, and actually NAMED floral, is a blank grey and black snake poisonous snake pattern (of all the tasteless things for a gift for a chemo patient!). This will be guaranteed to wash her out, sends all the wrong messages, and is just plain ugly even if one likes snake patterns (which she doesn't, and we ordered "FLORAL"!). This is utter rubbish, We do not recommend at all, and it's very expensive rubbish.

Kind of bulky on top. Need a wig grip of you have any hair at all, as it will slide up unless you completely cover your ears with it. Bad chemical smell. Have soaked it for an hour and washed it in excessive laundry detergent. Still has that weird chemical smell to it, from specific countries. If you can get the smell out, it's almost worth the money. You need a wig grip though, or it wont stay put.

Me ayuda muchísimo, en este proceso de mi tratamiento, además puedo cambiar la cinta por otra y doy diferente look, es fácil de ponérselo y se lava muy rápido a mano de preferencia , solo en época de calor si es caliente y sudo un poco
