Purina Fancy Feast Senior Wet Cat Food 7 Years Plus Chicken Feast in Gravy Minced - (Pack of 24) 3 oz. Cans

I purchased this Parina fancy feast for seniors for the first time today I was pleasantly surprised my cat absolutely loved it. I have tried many other brands and he will smell it and walk away. I’m not really sure on my cats age. I had him for almost 5 years don’t know the birthday and how long the previous owner had him I think he likes it because it’s smaller pieces and it’s minced. He does not like the bigger pieces some of the other foods are actually would make him sick.

I started giving this to my (former stray) kitty for her evening meal and she LOVES it. Usually she wants pets before she eats, but when she hears that can open and I scoop it out into her little food dish, it's like I don't exist anymore 😆 She loves this food SO much. She's been eating it for about half a year and she's just as obsessed now as she was in the beginning. She hasn't had any tummy issues with it, the smell is appealing to kitties, she obviously loves the flavor and texture, and the pop of the can opening makes her day. I don't know her exact age but she had a rough life before me and she seems a little older, so I stick with the senior food. She seems very healthy and feels good all the time. She's happy, I'm happy!

Fancy Feast senior minced is a pretty good compromise for my senior kittens. One is diabetic, but it's very hard to get her to eat only pate and this food is pretty high in protein. Even if it does have a little higher carb than she should eat, it's better that she get some carbs than not eat. The food itself is acceptable quality. It's my observed opinion that the quality of Fancy Feast has declined over the decades since Purina purchased this "gourmet" brand, but I do still rely upon them for maintaining at least some standards of safety and nutrition. I'm told that Purina annual pet food sales are around 12 billion dollars, so am I going to do better with another manufacturer working with available resources? My average is about one can per case destroyed. There was a time that I would have been livid about one destroyed can per case, It's enough that I'm paying twice what it cost me about 4 years ago. What do you do about that? Ask to return? Not when you're fortunate to even find a case of what you choose in stock without buying it from third party scalpers. Conclusion: I'm taking what I can get and doing the best that I can. Overall I think Purina is also trying their best to maintain standards.

My cats eat this up! Small minced bites. Prefer this to pate.

This is about the only food my picky boy will eat, he is a Devon Rex and I need something that will help keep is coat nice and fluffy. This hasn't bothered his coat at all and he loves the gravy! Good value especially with Subscribe and Save.
