Aesthetics matter
The bike itself is fine. However, the bike was delivered with a hideous scratch on the frame as well as a small rip in the decorative cover on the handle bars. These coincide with a tear in the side of the Huffy box. I know these annoyances likely won't affect my son's riding experience, but as a consumer, I expect products to be pristine upon delivery.

DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE!!
I recieved this bike in a very timely manner (couple days) and I will admit it is cool looking. I got the bike completely put together, extremely excited for my son to get home and ride it. However, when I turned the pedals to see if it worked well, thats when I noticed that the sprocket on the rear wheel was hiccuping and making a terrible noise when coasting (this part is pre-assembled so I didn't touch it at all). Also the front pedals would not stop turing when the rear wheel moved so obviously the rear sprocket is not releasing when coasting for some reason. Not right. I had requested a replacement bike, returned the old one. Again very prompt delivery and again PROBLEM! On the second bike (same model) the rear crank would make a loud popping sound every time the pedals were turned 360 degrees. Unacceptable! I am an auto technician and know the difference between putting something together wrong and a manufacturer defect. This having been a 2 different defects on the same model I felt compelled to let everyone know not to buy this thing, its a real bummer. I dont usually write reviews like this but I was disappointed enough this time to do so. Also I would mention that I called Huffy customer service and both calls were dropped before I talked to anyone during business hours so I gave up on them.
