These are well worth the money! I would hate to be without them. Supportive and very comfortable, they make a huge difference in my walking stamina and eliminated my foot pain. Will definitely order again.

I recently developed severe pain when trying to walk--severe pain in the balls of my feet near the little toe. Walking is extremely difficult until I put my feet into shoes with these inserts. Suddenly I can walk, pain free. I don't get it. The magic seems to be the result of the elevated arch support, because there is almost no cushioning near the toes. I'm very happy with them. The only negative that I can conjure up is the fact that they are quite expensive. They cost more than most of my shoes. But they are fitted for your shoes and very sturdy so you can easily transfer them from one pair of shoes to another when you need to change your wardrobe. I don't know how well they are going to hold up. Most of the other inserts that I tried were pretty ragged by the end of one month. But, as I said, these are very sturdy, so I expect they should last several months, at least. Time will tell. When that time comes, I will bite the bullet and buy another pair. Otherwise, I will be confined to a chair all day long.

This is my third pair, each lasting about two years with much walking. I am heavy on my feet, being modestly overweight. They are durable and comfortable, and in my case true to size. My only complaint is that the metatarsal lift is towards the arch instead of towards the metatarsal bridge where I most need it. Thus the ball of my foot always wears a hole completely through the insole. I bought two pairs this time. When osteophyte bone spurs on the metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joints point toward the sole of the foot, they create localized high-pressure points. The "piercing" sensation occurs because these bony projections compress the sensitive soft tissues between the bone and the ground. Since the pain is not in the ball of the foot but rather in the joints where the toes meet the foot—the MTP joints—these spurs compress the very thin skin and soft tissue on the underside of the toe joints themselves. Most custom "metatarsal lifts" fail because they are built into the arch of the insert rather than extending forward to where the metatarsal bones actually meet the toes. If the lift is positioned far back (toward arch), it won't offload sharp bone spurs at the MTP joints; instead, it simply lifts the foot higher into the top of the shoe. Because the pain is specific to the joints rather than the ball of the foot, the lift needs to prevent those joints from bending or pressing into the sole. I've had custom made orthotics that also did not meet the need, and they were not so durable as these PowerStep Pinnacle Plus Met. Even though the lift is too far towards the arch to provide the desired relief, the PowerStep Pinnacle Plus Met insoles provide great comfort.

I bought these at the recommendation of ChatGPT with whom I'd been trying to diagnose foot pain issues and the need to find a shoe/insert combo that would support me hiking more than 4-5 miles without pain. I have high arches (one more so than the other), super tight Achilles tendons, an atrophied fat pad on the ball of my left foot, and wide feet from severe supination. The only shoes I can tolerate without corrective inserts are T*v*s and B****ks****s, and for working out there's only 1 model of NB runners (discontinued) and now some generic wide toe box shoes I found here on Amazon in which I have to put hard plastic W*lkF*t orthotics. And I'm not overweight or anything... just a mess below the ankle. The AI struck gold with this recommendation. I put them in some generic no-brand hiking shoes, and I went from grumpy sore feet to happy supported feet. So far I've walked 7 mi two days in a row with these in my shoes, with NO PAIN! I could have kept going - which I'll be doing next week since I need to work up to 15 miles in one day. For some reason, they're not as successful in my workout shoes - they're ok, but not great. However, in my trail runners - wow, I kinda want to cry it's such a relief to not have to worry about my feet. These are truly life-changing.

So far so good. Somehow almost immediate relief from the metatarsal issue. On one part it says to wear an hour a day for a week or so then work to wearing it more. On the box it says 3hours at a time. It is def odd feeling, and made my foot a little achy, but I wore it all day out of the box. My stride and walking speed is better.

Good insoles for arch and heel but the metatarsal pad is lacking. Upset with my podiatrist because she recommended it. As soon as I mentioned it to her she agreed, then why recommend it for metatarsal pain! Also pad is near the arch instead of being right before the ball of foot and it’s small. Don’t even feel the pad

I had a custom shoe insert built to relieve pressure on the outsides of my feet (under big toe, under little toe) that produced painful calluses and made walking extremely uncomfortable. In the conversation with the custom orthotic provider I learned about how the lack of metatarsal support results in the problems I was having. I ordered this insert to see if an off-the shelf support could do what the custom one did (at significantly less cost). After one day of wearing these supports in my work shoes, I ordered two more. I no longer dread walking, and my calluses are growing much more slowly and need filing much less frequently. Very pleased.

Arrived in excellent condition. Great quality material and build compared to other brands. The labeled size on the box was accurate and fit my shoe perfectly. Unfortunately, I cannot use them. The “Plus Met” metatarsal pad was just too much pressure on the underside of my foot. Felt like I had a golf ball in my shoe. This was 100% my fault for not doing more research before purchase. My advice: Be absolutely sure you actually need that additional metatarsal pad. I followed up by purchasing the correct “standard” PowerStep Pinnacle supports, which are working perfectly!

Damn!!! totally worth it. I never thought I would write a review on a shoe insert. I suffered with Metatarsalgia in both feet for years. After a week of using these, pain and numbness in one foot is completely gone and the other foot getting better each day. Sizing is 1 size smaller than you shoe. i wear size 13 and the inserts are a bit short on length.

I have flat foot and do sports pretty frequently and intensely. I use it in my Nike shoes, removed the original soil of the shoe and replaced it with this product. Fits perfectly and so far I'm happy with the performance, I dont get feet soil pain anymore. Recommend using it.

I would imagine these might be great if your issue is needing more support in the heal and arch but they did not help at all with my metatarsal pain. The pad is positioned too far back. The arch support is very pronounced. It caused me significant pain while walking. The heel support is also aggressive. It puts your foot in a forward slant. (Think high heeled shoe but not as drastic). The entire insert is also thick from the middle of the foot back. It puts you higher in the shoe which causes other issues.
