Great phone, great pictures
This phone is exactly what I was after. I've gone from using an S7, I just wanted a fast phone with a great camera and thats what it is. The pictures come out so good, mostly used on my dogs and I already have some great photos of them. Its also a good size, slightly bigger than the S7 but not too big! I got it in light blue, I was worried I'd get sick of the colour but its actually a really nice touch. Money well spent.

Great phone from Samsung - do believe the hype.
Upgraded from an S8 which I'd had no problems with, so I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews on the S20. I have had absolutely no problems with it so far, all of my settings and data transferred using smart switch so it's very familiar to use. Just has a few more extra whippy bits. I have not noticed any problems with the handset getting warm or overheating. I can accidentally fall asleep with it under my pillow without having to worry, which I never dreamed about doing with the S7 because it got awfully hot. I only noticed the S20 get slightly warm when it transferred all of the files and data from my S8. It's doesn't get hot when charging or when I've used it otherwise. I haven't noticed any glitches either, processor works fine and dandy. Extremely pleased so far, and to think I almost switch to an iPhone this time. Great phone from Samsung. Do believe the hype.

Decent Upgrade
I upgraded from a three year old S9. S9 was a decent phone, good camera and great screen. Battery had begun to fail - lasting only 6 or 7 hours between charges on busy days. The screen got cracked early on as well, despite being wrapped in a good case, as the curved nature of it meant that a sideways drop was not going to end well. Have had Apple and HTC in the past, I am not particularly brand loyal. The S20 offers upgrades on the S9 in the following; - screen size. It goes from 5.8 to 6.2, while not changing the chassis size at all really. Bezels are gone, and it's all screen. It's great to have the pocketability of the S9 but more screen. I felt that the S20+ and the S20 FE were just too big - not in the hand, but in the pocket. Not important to many, but for me the marginal size difference (measured in mm after all) means better portability and I don't care about having a taller screen. - camera. The camera on the S9 is pretty good, but there is a decent upgrade on the S20. I shoot with DSLR when it matters, so I am not expecting much from a phone, but the camera produces nice images. - UI. The 120hz is just ok at first, but then you get used to it and it merges with the UI for a very smooth and fast experience. - less curve. The case offers much better protection. Not much change; - screen quality. Top notch, and the main reason I went for this model. - Expandable storage. This is handy, as 4k video takes up a lot of room, as do high-res pics and high-res music. - battery. It lasts a day and half (which, from memory, is what the S9 lasted, when new). This is fine, I am happy enough to charge it once a day to keep battery anxiety at bay. Downgrades - no headphone jack. This is disappointing - I have a nice set of cans which I now need an (admittedly cheap, but nonetheless annoying) adapter for. Or I go bluetooth, which is just too much tech (and too many radio waves directly into my brain) for me. - price!!! What the junk Samsung? The price when new was ridiculous. I bought at half the launch price - it is OK value at this price, but still has a lot of company - Oneplus and Google, and Samsung's own FE, not to mention Apple stuff. I reckon if you are spending half a grand on a phone, if you are not getting a masterpiece of miniature computer engineering, then forget it. I probably would have been happy with any of the handsets at that price point to be fair, but screen and expandable storage are what swung it for me. Ultimately; - This phone gives expandable storage, a great screen, great camera, nice UI, OK battery, very good size and not too many disadvantages. Price is well below launch now, so it offers decent value. Happy enough.

Fast, reliable, but battery needs to improve
Very fast and reliable phone only issue is that the battery drains quickly so you need to have an external battery/power bank on you.

Small phone, brilliant product
One of the best Android phones I have used. This phone is a a good as the S20 plus but a lot cheaper. The camera is great and the screen is crisp and clear. The ability to change the refresh rate is another nice touch from Samsung. Personally I would get this phone over the S20 plus anytime.

Nice modern upgrade from my S7
Bought the S20(4G) 128GB version as a replacement for my old S7 (which I ruined the speaker of after dropping it in my morning cereal - oops). Was painless to set up and quickly transferred 99% of my stuff from my S7 to the S20 using the smart switch app (I advise you first watch a youtube demo of the transfer process if you've not done it before). Battery life seems on a par with my old S7 - I'll charge twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Seems to eat up battery at about the same rate as my S7 if I do significant multimedia streaming - i.e. an extra charge ususally required for peace of mind. The phone supports USB-C PD (PPS) charging and can charge quickly with the supplied charger. The phone arrived with 23% charge and charged to 100% in about 40 mins. The supplied charger can reach up to 25W (under a PPS charge regime). Power banks that support the same charge rate are hard to find and expensive, so I'm currently sticking with my existing Ravpower bank that only manages 12W (5V @ 2.4A). The sound quality from the speaker seems good - not great, but not at all bad. I've not had chance to play with the camera yet, so can't comment on that. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase. Reckon it should do me for the next 5 years. Hopefully, by then, they'll have 3D holophones :-)

Attention: version UK
