Great product and company

After taking a capsule of Korean Panax Ginsing three times a day for a couple weeks, I felt "something" unexpected happening: noticable mood improvement and greater calm, paradoxically while feeling increased energy. The energy part I expected, but not the mood elevation. "It feels like I am on an antidepressant," I thought. I took the antidepressant Wellbutrin for a short period after my mother died in the 1990s and it feels like that, though not as overwhelming, not as "fake." Curious, I looked into it. My subjective feeling was confirmed: Korean Panax ginseng (also known as Korean Red Ginseng or Asian ginseng) is often associated with mood improvement and is traditionally used to enhance mental state. ​Here's a breakdown of the scientific perspective: ​Adaptogen Properties: Ginseng is considered an adaptogen, which means it's believed to help the body adapt to and resist physical and psychological stressors, which can indirectly lead to an improved sense of well-being and less negative mood. ​Stress and Anxiety Reduction: Several studies suggest that Panax ginseng can lead to significant reductions in perceived stress levels and less negative emotion in moderately stressed healthy adults. ​Antidepressant Potential: Research, particularly preclinical studies (on animals), suggests that ginseng and its active components (ginsenosides) may have antidepressant-like effects. Proposed mechanisms include regulating the HPA axis (the body's central stress response system) and potentially affecting neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. ​Calmness and Cognition: Some human studies have shown that ginseng can improve aspects of working memory and subjective ratings of calmness in healthy young adults. For the price on the size it's not bad. I'm not going to say it's top-notch though. I do believe I have a subscription to this one.

This brand of ginseng works well for me. Tried other brands of ginseng ,but this one works best. Gives me added boost of energy for the day.

Amazing supplement. Increased zest for life, gave feeling of abundance of life, life energy and life force. Miraculous quality as it gives everything else what was promised as well.

Best Korean ginseng supplement I’ve found. Works far better than any other and can definitely tell the difference. No unpleasant odor or aftertaste just a good boost to get through the day. This Double Wood. Made in USA and 3rd party tested. Highly recommended.

We have now tried multiple Double Wood products, and our experience reflects the high Amazon ratings by others. This particular ginseng does not produce a "high" or any "jittery" sensations as some similar products reportedly do, yet it has definitely contributed to more energy, and also helps with issues pertaining to aging in men, along with another of the Double Wood products. I got one or two of the products as samples at no cost (one through Amazon Vine, one from the company after having previously purchsed one of the same with no expectation of getting the "freebie"), but these are just for disclosure here. They have in no way influenced our reviews - these truly are products that do what they advertise (and sometimes more, in a good way). We've had zero negative side effects from any of them including this one.
