Instant Freeze Hair Gel with Jojoba Oil & Sea Kelp, 7 Ounce

Just a little of this gel goes a long way! It delivers high-end performance at a great price—strong hold, great curl definition, and solid frizz control. The scent is really nice, and the consistency works well (I add a bit of water to make it less sticky). It lasts all day without needing touch-ups. Definitely a great value for the results you get.

Let me just say that my hair was for most of my life out of control. My hair just never stayed in place. I bought ALL the sprays, gels and even mouse out there since I was a kid in school. Nothing ever worked until I got this Aussie Gel. This gives a sleek look without shinyness which I hate. It's not a wet finish look which I love. But, if I want a really matted down hair look I just use more. If I just want it to keep my hair in place I just use a dab and repeat. The only reason I bought this gel at first was to try it and then throw it into the pile of all my other unused hair products that usually don't work for me. However, the first amount I put in my hair which should NOT be too much (maybe a quarter of a teaspoon), I put it ON my hair. not THROUGH my hair. That is the key. Then I let it dry three minutes and put it again in the same area. It's magic. It holds my hair the entire day even in this hot weather. I do also use together with this gel the Nexus Finishing Hold Spray. By accident I used these two together by first putting the gel on and after it dries I spray the Nexus on my hair. I realized that each of these two products does a specific thing and when I just use one of the two my hair does not cooperate as well. So, I use both and I'm happy beyond words. The gel with regular five days a week use lasts me about two to three months for one tube. If you use it more cut in half how long it lasts.

Love this stuff! I’ve never found a product that works better for my 3B Low Porosity hair. It does a great job at defining my curls and keeping them that way, without being crusty like other gels I’ve tried. It may be a little crusty after it first dries, but once it dries I just tossle my hair a few times and the hard edges go away. It’s surprising how natural my hair feels and looks with this product in it, and no matter how many times I stretch one of my curls out it always seems to spring back to its shape without losing definition. If I mess with my hair too much, it will start to frizz a bit, but way less than if natural or with other products I’ve tried. It also feels very light in my hair, whereas leave-ins and creams tend to weigh down my hair due to the low porosity. After using this product, I’ve never gotten more compliments and people asking me how I do my hair. I highly recommend it, especially if you have low porosity hair! PS: I don’t like my hair having too much shine to it, and one thing I’ve found that helps achieve a more matte look is sea salt spray: after a shower and quick towel dry I’ll spray a few pumps of sea salt spray into my hair, then towel dry again, and then apply the gel. Not only does the texture look really nice, but I swear the salt spray also helps define my curls further.

did not work for what I bought it for. i used it to make glitter gel for my daughters hair and it doesn't hold the glitter in the hair. However because of this it would work for its intended purpose on the package which is curly hair, held without a crunch, it does still work for other purposes for hair in our home so overall id still say good price for the product itself and its size. bonus points it does smell amazing!

THIS IS THE OLD FORMULATION, BUY IT BEFORE IT'S GONE. My friend had put me onto this gel about 7 years ago and it works super well for our curls (I have combination hair but mostly 4b for reference). It holds my curls, mixes well with my other products, lays my edges very well, doesn't flake or leave a cast like Ecostyle does and a little goes a long way so it lasts a while. It would keep my hair moisturized and it's great for twist outs, braid outs or simply wash n go's. I had my hair in protective styles majority of the past year so it wasn't until January that I noticed the formula change when I went to buy it again. The new formula is TERRIBLE, dries out my hair and flakes, I read other reviews of curly girls of varying curl patterns claiming the same thing. I was dissappointed as I was just telling my friend how great the old formula was. On a whim I checked to see if anyone was selling the old forumla and here it is! The old formula with jojoba and sea kelp! I assume this is backstock as it is sold from Aussie official, so definitely grab it before it's gone and only the new, bad formula is left!

A mi me gusta que el gel me ponga el cabello un poco tiezo y este es perfecto. No oucpas usar mucho para obtener buenos resultado. La mejor manera de utilizarlos es antes de salir de bañar, lo apones en el cabello mojado.

Ottimo prodotto, lo uso sui miei capelli ricci in combinazione con leave in e mousse (seguo il curly girl method), crea un ottimo cast, non lascia residui e lo styling dura almeno 3gg. L'ho preso come alternativa più economica rispetto a Giovanni LA Hold - che adoro, ma non sempre è reperibile a prezzi "normali" - e non mi ha affatto delusa!

Love this gel, not to heavy so doesn’t weigh down my curls.
