this is one sturdy cane
I'm a big guy, almost 300 lb. I had a quad cane that lasted less than a month and the screw that secured the base to the cane stripped and made it unusable. this cane is heavy duty. it is very very well made, stable and sturdy. if you are big I really think this is the cane for you

This is a nice, broad base @ the bottom for better leverage when you are walking but it is too HEAVY! Especially for a small - medium sized woman !!
